    Digital Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    We’re looking for a digital marketing manager with small agency experience to join a boutique digital marketing agency in Johannesburg. The agency is doing some exciting things in the tech space and has loads of super innovative clients. This role is a hybrid of a marketing coordinator and account manager with a smidge of content creation.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years small marketing agency experience;

    • Experience with Facebook & LinkedIn ads manager;

    • Experience with Google Analytics;

    • Experience with CRM / email campaign platforms (Preferably Active Campaigns etc)

    • As well as content creation for social media and email campaigns (mostly copywriting, not design)

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinating campaigns and results with clients;

    • Coordinating with internal designers, web developers, and other team members;

    • Coordinating with external service providers;

    • Managing social media pages and scheduling posts;

    • Adjusting and tweaking the marketing strategies to achieve results;

    • Managing ad spend and campaign budgets;

    • Compile end-of-month (EOM) marketing reports

    Intermediate Java Developer

    Software Engineering:

    Our team of software engineers is responsible for designing, implementing, delivering and supporting software systems. Some of our systems have dependencies on services we don’t control so we need to consider things like separation of responsibilities and testing strategies carefully. We also have a collection of software systems that we are in the process of moving and modernizing, in part, through containerization. We have a continual stream of business requirements lots of which necessitate new projects which we integrate to our collection of systems. We’re continually looking for ways to work in a more automated and streamlined way and we’re passionate about delighting our customers as well as debating our favourite text editor.

    Software Engineering:

    •  Making sure they have the knowledge of the system they are working with
    •  Understanding the requirements and identifying conflicts or potential risks before coding
    •  Designing a solution and presenting to the team so it can be polished if required and owned by all
    •  Being comfortable with legacy systems and compromises, but aiming for the change in the right direction
    •  Being responsible for creating a deployment plan which includes valuable tests and ensures stability

    Things you’ll need to know about:

    •  Java 8, Spring, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud
    •  Testing tools like Junit. Wiremock and Cucumber are on our horizon too.
    •  Relational databases.
    •  Containers and container orchestration. Currently we use Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
    •  Version control – we use git.
    •  Agile, in particular scrum.
    •  The ability to communicate effectively, whether it’s spoken, written or collaboration over documentation.

    Analyst Java Programmer

    Introduction
    Analyse basic user requirements, design, implement and support less complex technical systems. This is a permanent position based at the Head Office in Cape Town.

    Job description

    •  Analysis, technical design and development aligned to team processes & requirements

    Jnr-Mid UI Designer

    Job Description

    • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, direction and experience

    Product Design Lead

    What you’ll do Stakeholder Management

    • Represent Design at a Product level when deciding roadmaps and key objectives

    • Act as the point of contact for any major design concerns, queries or unforeseen work. This includes when design input is required for decision making at a senior management level

    Product Owner

    My client is an innovative digital financial service provider who specializes in fast, flexible loans and funeral cover policies.

    The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the analysis, project management and product ownership within our Platform area; act as liaison between the business and IT and will deliver on business objectives through technical and design innovations and enhancements.

    Key Performance Areas

    Business analysis

    • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and analyse user requirements
    • Compile artefacts needed to complete development tasks (documentation)
    • Compile wireframes and flow diagrams
    • Conceptualise and document solutions and features that will be developed in our products
    • Effectively liaise with different business units (engineering, customer services, marketing, credit risk) to enable the delivery of comprehensive specifications

    • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
    • Experience in a Product Owner role within a FinTech business will be a great advantage
