KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Minimum BCom degree
• Accounting Diploma majoring in Management Accounting

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Persistence, administrative skills, attention to detail
• Accuracy, methodical, responsive and the ability to function independently and under pressure
• Valid driver's license advantageous and must have reliable transport

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE(BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• To apply troubleshooting methods, routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles, bakkies, trucks and forklifts
• Perform basic care and maintenance, such as services on the above vehicles according to service intervals.
• Vehicle diagnostics and reporting thereof.
• Advise necessary components, spares and parts required in order they can be sources and purchased.
• General workshop and mechanical duties as required by the Workshop Foreman.
• Maintain a neat and tidy workshop and workstation.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 
• Mechanical Qualification or Trade Test advantages.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the mechanical and workshop environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, diesel and petrol.
• Ability and acumen to work independently without supervision.
• Hydraulics advantages.
• A good knowledge and strong commitment to Health and Safety processes.
• Sound communication skills.
