RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will include but not limited to:

• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather and document system requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Conduct system upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Assist in the implementation and rollout of new applications and systems, including testing, training, and support.
• Support data integrity, data migration, and integration between systems using APIs, ETL tools, or scripting.
• Ensure applications meet compliance, security, and performance standards.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated helpdesk issues related to enterprise systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Build responsive, maintainable frontend components where required.
• Write clean, testable, and welldocumented code following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance in all solutions.
• Day-to-day systems support and issue resolution
• Review the current systems/interfaces, forms and procedures and propose solutions to streamline and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate with Managers to design and develop both internal and external management reports to better inform the business
• Liaise with external stakeholders and system developers where necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in IT and/or Software Development
• 3-5 years software development experience
• Broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems and ERP Systems
• Experience working in project and BAU environments
• Property Industry experience beneficial
• Advanced Excel and computer software skills

SKILLS

• Up to date knowledge of current trends and practices relating to IT Applications
• Strong analytical and numerical skills demonstrating an ability to identify and react to emerging issues
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage conflict and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent standard of literacy and effective written communication skills
• Scripting or programming experience an advantage
• Ability to deal with a demanding workload which will include conflicting demands on time
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language:
• C#/.NET, Java, Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), C++ or Python.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are accurate and meet all necessary building codes and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with professionals and Clients to agree on Project briefs.
• Understand the design aspects of each Project to ensure practical questions are raised at the outset.
• Evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues.
• Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures.
• Identify surveys required before work commences, ensuring they are undertaken.
• Develop project briefs and update as projects progress.
• Prepare and present design proposals utilising CAD and other design software, along with traditional drawing methods.
• Lead the detailed design process and coordinate design information.
• Advise Clients on procuring the best and most appropriate contracts for the work they are undertaking.
• Liaise with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval.
• Produce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used.
• Conduct design-stage risk assessments.
• Administer contracts and project certifications.
• Obtain feedback from Clients and report on the performance of Contractors.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective clothing when visiting Sites.
• Any other reasonable instructions within the scope of work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software

• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Time management and organizational skills
• Experience in commercial and residential projects is an asset
