    Contracts Manager

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of contract management within our organization. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure favourable outcomes for the company.
    • Contract Drafting: Draft, review, and revise contracts, including but not limited to sales agreements, procurement contracts, service agreements, subcontractors, vendors and non-disclosure agreements.
    • Contract Management: Manage the entire contract life cycle, including tracking key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with
    • contracts, including legal, financial, and operational risks.
    • Compliance: Ensure that all contracts comply with company policies,
    • legal requirements, and industry regulations.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and legal counsel to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and resolve any disputes that may arise.
    • Contract Administration: Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and related documents, and develop and implement contract management tools and processes.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Writing and sending requests for proposals to potential vendors
    • Relationships: Create and maintain healthy relationships with suppliers and customers.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • An Honours or Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a related field, preferably in the Construction Industry.
    • Strong understanding of contract laws, contract drafting, and contract negotiation principles. Proficient in NEC, FIDIC, JBCC Contracts.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in contract review and analysis.
    • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite

    Site Administrator - Sutherland

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Administrator with strong experience in construction site administration, document control, stock control, and EDO reporting. This role entails overseeing all administrative aspects of our construction site, including materials and small equipment management documentation, stock control, and EDO reporting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, Previous experience in a similar position, along with knowledge of company policies and standard procedures, is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting the CM and Health and Safety Manager with admin tasks on site.
    • Materials and Small Equipment Management:
    • Assist with the Processing purchase orders and maintain comprehensive records of transactions.
    • Implement strong stock control measures to optimize inventory levels and minimize wastage.

    Financial Administration:

    • Distribute proof of payments to clients and manage financial documentation.
    • facilitate the procurement process.
    • Verify Site Received Vouchers (SRVs) and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
    • Assist CM with managing site allowances

    Documentation and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain organized records of site activities, correspondence, and daily site diaries.
    • Establish and manage filing systems for easy retrieval of documents and information.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding documentation.

    Costing and Reporting:

    • Assist in preparing costing sheets using Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy in calculations for petty cash purchases.
    • Compile monthly reports on purchase orders processed, costing data, and site returns (SRVs) for the Operations Manager.
    • Prepare accurate and timely EDO - Site (Economic Development Objectives reports in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Administrative Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • Previous experience in construction site administration, , stock control, and EDO reporting.
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software.
    • Strong organizational, time management
    • Familiarity with company policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SP 1; SP 05; SP 06; SP 09; SP 13; SP 14).

    Performance Metrics:

    • Timeliness and accuracy of purchase orders processed monthly.
    • Accuracy of data in costing sheets.
    • Adherence to filing and documentation standards.
    • Efficiency in financial administration, stock control, and reporting processes, including EDO reporting.
