    Regional Sales Operations Manager: WC

    • You are accountable for sales execution in your region.  You lead the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives that will maximise and capitalise on sales opportunities in your region.  In close collaboration with the Marketing, Category and Customer teams, you need to achieve your sales targets through the delivery of customer and consumer propositions at the point of purchase. You co-ordinate the activity in your region.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Translate the National Customer Plans into a regional sales operation plan.
    • Support and implement the marketing, brand and key account plans within the respective regions, to ensure achievement of budgeted value and volume objectives at a regional level.
    • Plan and direct the activity of the regional sales teams (including contracted sales and merchandising agents) ensuring that all teams are motivated to attain their targets.
    • Monitor regional sales activity and success rates and take appropriate corrective action where necessary.
    • Manage gross profit, net sales value and volume in terms of on-going analysis, investigation and reporting on regional sales information.
    • Ensure on-shelf presence and stock pressure across the designated customer base.
    • Manage the regional sales budget, including expenses.
    • Monitor and maintain clearly communicated scorecards, standard operating procedures and standards.
    • Ensure that merchandising frequency is planned and conducted to brand and store demands.
    • Monitor and measure activation on shelf by customer.
    • Develop and implement point of purchase drivers.
    • Conduct formal trade visits, product & category knowledge training and formal testing bi-annually.
    • Evaluate the field sales business model and coverage at least once a year.
    • Manage the returns policy and procedures.

    Experience

    • Over 5 years’ sales management experience
    • Experience in FMCG Food Service industry
    • Finance sales experience (budgets, forecasting etc.)
    • Experience in managing field sales teams
    • Relevant post matric qualification

    Financial Accountant: R&P

    • You are focussed on ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the group consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financials.  You will assist internal- and external auditors with information/feedback requested and ensure consistent application of internal controls.  You will also support the Management Accountant with month end and other reports.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Serves as a link between the source documents and the ledger accounts.  Creation of ledger transactions for future analysis. 
    • Provides the basis for allocating expenditure to various cost centres and general accounts – Reconciliation reports. 
    • Spreadsheets that offer a variety of statistical and business analysis tools for “what if” analysis. 
    • Information that can be relied upon for making financial and administrative decisions.
    • Periodic trial balances to ensure that the system is in balance and suitable period end reports to ensure that financial statements reflect the fair presentation of financial results and position. 
    • Financial Reports to Management, Debtors, The State and other regulatory institutions.
    • Financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

    Engineering Manager: HPC

    • The Engineering Manager has the overall responsibility for executing the Tiger Brands Group Supply Chain Centre of Excellence safety, engineering and maintenance strategies, ensuring that the factory is safety compliant to the OSH Act, continuously improving factory equipment reliability performance, and effectively maintain all operational and support elements of the factory.  The Engineering Manager will lead and coach performance improvement through the implementation of the Maintenance Pillar within the Manufacturing Excellence Customs and Practices (MECP).  This role has a direct impact on manufacturing performance KPI’s improvement (Safety and Health, Sustainability Agenda, Capacity Utilisation, OEE, Continuous Improvement savings and Conversion Cost).

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Be the responsible GMR 2(1) Engineer for the factory
    • Ensure that Factory and equipment are compliant to OSH Act and other applicable regulations
    • Lead the implementation of the Maintenance Pillar, Procedures and Systems within Manufacturing Excellence Customs and Practices (MECP)
    • Manage the 5-year factory asset risk register
    • Manage financial compliance as per purchasing policy and performance through the development and compliance to the maintenance budget with a view of optimising costs
    • Manage the Capex Budget and timely delivery of projects
    • Lead the Engineering, Maintenance and Utilities team
    • Work and win together with Production teams
    • Lead continuous improvement in Operational Technology (OT) through automation of plant and process systems
    • Ensure manufacturing systems and instrumentation integrity

    • Coordinate training programs for the engineering function to ensure upskilling of internal resources and growth in technical expertise through an internal feeder scheme i.e.: apprenticeships and learnerships

    Engineering Manager: Hennenman

    • To ensure that the Manufacturing Unit is maintained in accordance with agreed maintenance standards resulting in improved plant efficiency and availability.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Asset Management:

    • Develop and deploy the asset management strategy
    • Conduct plant, equipment inspections and audits providing reports on findings
    • Ensure facility plans are updated, available and adhered to.
    • Ensure modifications are completed in-accordance set specifications
    • Maintain records of all modifications

    Safety, Health & Environmental:

    • Implement and maintain all  Risk requirements as per the OHAS Act 85/1993, Tiger Milling internal System and Insurer requirements
    • Ensure that all statutory inspections are adhered to
    • Urgently address and close out all findings as per the insurers ASIB report
    • Scaffolding, ladders, stairways and ramps are on register, checked 3 monthly and signed off.
    • Earth leakage tests are done 3 monthly and electrical installation is in good condition numbered, traceable and Certificate of electrical Compliance are on file. Portable electrical equipment is recorded on register, inspected 3 monthly and signed off by Site Engineer.
    • Transformers serviced annually and all findings addressed without delay.

    Minimise waste

    • Conduct audits and implement corrective action plan.

    • Initiate programs to continuously reduce Disabling Injury Frequency Rates.
