Job Purpose

• To coordinate the pickup and delivery schedule of stock through the distribution centre. 

Key Responsibilities

Stock Coordination

• Place orders for stores through the call centre.
• Perform stock on hand counts for all principals at the DC.
• Inform all stores of promotional activities and drive promotional activity with the sales team.
• Ensure the optimum stock is delivered to the store to support any in-store promotion.
• Take in orders from Vector sales reps and process orders for specific drives or additional volume.
• Manage sales orders.
• Manage returns and product recalls.
• Manage stock levels by regularly checking stock on hand on the depot floor.
• Check for expired stock and notify the relevant manager.
• Follow up on short delivery’s and arrange the re-orders.
• Liaise with the sales team and buyers.
• Conduct price surveys.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Follow up on deliveries from Principals to the depot.
• Ensure that the stock cover is high on best sellers and optimum on other products.
• Action the optimal flow of merchandise including fulfilment of product marketing introduction deadlines capacity planning.

• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
• Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Merchandising/Logistics Diploma.
• 3 years’ relevant experience in an FMCG environment.

Job Purpose

• To investigate, collect and preserve physical evidence, prepare written reports of the investigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations on behalf of Vector Logistics into matters committed against the Company or its employees.         
• Conduct investigations into offences committed by Company employees and contractors.
• Make recommendations to Management based on the outcome of these investigations.
• Review collected local intelligence data.
• Conduct investigations as directed by the Risk & Security Manager.
• Review Policies and Procedures with respect to security and advise Management on methods to minimize security risk.
• Regularly test documented security procedures for employee compliance.
• Follow all South African laws pertaining to performance of duty.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric.
• Risk Management qualification or studying towards (It’s a must). 
• PSIRA.
• Have no criminal convictions.
• Be able to prepare detailed reports which include recommendations to Management on improvements to security.
• Good communication of the English language.
• Extensive experience in investigation.
• Police background encompassing investigations and presentation of offenders before the Courts.

Skills and Competencies

• 3 years investigation experience.
• Proven and developed leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Unquestionable integrity.
