    IT: Systems Administrator - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (SA Connect)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager: IT, the incumbent will:

    • Perform Quarterly Disaster Recovery sessions to ensure offsite data replication is accurately backed up.
    • Administrating of a Server, equipment and configuration.
    • Administration of Server 2008/2012/2016/2022.
    • Manage VLAN switches and managed Switches.
    • DHCP scope management, DNS Scope Management.
    • Mimecast administration (policies, mail flow, and directories)
    • Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks (account monitoring security, Operating System installation, etc.)
    • Manage and monitor the Microsoft 365 Environment.
    • Working with MS Azure Information Protection, AD-RMS and Azure products and technologies, including solution architecture, deployment, management and support in a large global enterprise.
    • Deploys routers, updates configurations to included interface settings, communication protocols, IOS versions and Access Control lists.
    • Installs, upgrades, troubleshoots Cisco VPN hardware, client configurations in support if secured remote access. Network and security documentation.
    • Safeguard’s information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
    • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.
    • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
    • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
    • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Diploma in Information Technology/Information systems/ Computer Engineering.
    • ITIL Certification
    • Exchange Online, Firewalls, Mimecast & COBIT Certification.
    • MCSE, MCSA, AZURE, SCCM (advantageous) & SharePoint Online.
    • 4 + Experience in systems development, infrastructure management and systems support, of which 2 years must be at a Senior level.
    • Data Protection Manager (advantageous).
    • High level knowledge of storage, server, messaging, desktop technologies, and hosting facilities management (e.g. air conditioning and power standards).
    • Understand Cloud Computing platforms, security and network domain.
    • Software savvy & Knowledge of Hardware.

    IT: Network Administrator - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (SA Connect)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager: IT, the incumbent will:

    • Provide expertise on the design of the network security topology, equipment and configuration.
    • Support for firewall devices of the manufacturers Cisco, Dell SonicWall and related management systems including all features (IPS, SSL deep inspection, etc.).
    • Review of security infrastructure systems to ensure adequate capacity, performance levels and upgrade requirements.
    • Analyse and tune firewall systems for performance, throughput, resource utilization, high availability and scalability.
    • Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution; provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and users.
    • Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks (account monitoring security, Operating System installation, etc.)
    • Manage IT system security infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
    • Develop methodology and scope for wireless security evaluations and security controls to mitigate risks associated with wireless technologies deployed at Broadband Infraco SOC.
    • Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve outages, assist with deployment challenges and enhancing security posture.
    • Experience on implementation, troubleshooting and managing Cisco WLC and AP.
    • Assists in developing training for other IT staff and Interns in the proper operation of the wide and local area networks.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • National Diploma in Information Technology/ Information systems/ Computer Engineering.
    • ITIL or COBIT certification
    • Microsoft MCSE & CCNA.
    • 4 + Years experience in systems development, infrastructure management and systems support, of which 2 years must be at senior level.
    • Understand computing platforms, security and network domain.
    • Understand and abreast products on offer in the market.
    • Technical and Software savvy.
    • Knowledge of Hardware.

    Manager: Risk – Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to Executive: Compliance, Risk and Audit, the incumbent will:

    • Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessment and monitor priority risks across the company.
    • To advise the company on any potential risk to the profitability or existence of the company.
    • Develop and communicate risk management policies, risk appetite and risk limits, conduct an annual risk assessment to the entire company, assist in developing risk mitigating strategies for the company.
    • Develop and monitor operational risks register for all the department/divisions and align to strategic risks.
    • Review, implement and maintain whistle blowing policy, weekly, monthly report on cases investigated.
    • Determine business needs for insurance and manage SLA for the insurance contract to ensure that it is complied with.
    • Review cover as business needs changes to ensure that adequate insurance is maintained.
    • Review and implement the combined assurance policy plan.
    • Develop, and manage budget for the unit, give strategic direction for the unit aligned with the business unit, prepare, and submit weekly and monthly reports as required by the business, report risk in an appropriate way to different stakeholders, report on findings of monitoring and evaluation process and make recommendation.
    • Management of insurance claims.
    • Management of Fraud and conduct fraud awareness.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 3 years degree or diploma in Risk Management. Or any related qualification.
    • Registered with the institution of Risk Management or other relevant profession.
    • 5 years minimum experience in enterprise risk management, experience in ITC will be added advantage.

    Divisional Coordinator: CTO

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent will:

    • Manage the smooth running of the CTO’s office including correspondence, meetings and diary, travel arrangements.
    • Coordinate and review the activities of the outputs, submissions, and updates of all subunit activities.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for the records and contract management storage and dissemination of the information within the CTO’s office, including electronic filing and management via SharePoint.
    • Facilitation and coordination of all Human Resources related activities (Performance contracts, Filing, tracking of certain objectives).
    • He/she will be responsible for the follow up and production of divisional management reports, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
    • Coordinate all the meetings, take minutes and all logistical arrangements.
    • Processing claims for the CTO.
    • The candidate will be responsible to maintain professional client and Supplier Liaison.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • National Diploma in Business/Office Administration/Management or Secretarial qualification
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in general office administration undertaking office management, Data capturing, travel arrangements, Report writing, financial management, Coordinating Departmental activities
    • An understanding of the technical operating environment.
    • Sound general secretarial/PA and office administration experience developed through growing through the ranks of organisations in such roles across functional areas.
    • Experience in dealing with key and senior individuals in organisations, including government.
    • Knowledge of government protocols and hierarchy.
