• Previous crop farming experience with maize & soya
• Experience operating, maintenance and calibration of pesticide and herbicide sprayers, tractors planters and other farm equipment
• Experience with managing a team of more than 10 staff members
• Computer literate
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to function under pressure
• Good health – physical stamina
• Mechanical experience and ability will be an advantage
• Valid code 8 drivers license or higher

• Planning and organizing
• Ensuring compliance with daily production schedules
• Identifying and solving of work-related problems
• Planting and harvesting of cash crops

• Stock Control and house keeping

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of seven years’ experience on a commercial dairy farm (pasture based)
• Post matric qualification in agriculture strongly preferred
• Excellent animal husbandry skills
• Basic mechanical knowledge of machinery and equipment
• Experience with basic maintenance tasks on a dairy farm
• Integrity, energetic, pro-active, attention to detail
• Ability to plan, execute and control tasks independently under minimum supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA preferable

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including stock control systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and legal reporting requirements.
