Description

• To visually inspect all filled bags prior to packing, to ensure a quality particulate free and leak-free final.
• Manual inspection of bags for particulates matter and Defects as defined in the defect catalogue.
• Maintenance of high standards of cleanliness in the department and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping
• Completion of reject recording documents.
• Responsible for clean workplace environment including the equipment.
• Train identified personnel on all related items relevant to operation
• Ensure daily targets are met
• Comply with all GMP & GRK practices.
• From time to time carry out other jobs within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent.
• Knowledge and ability to clear line of previous product and package inserts
• Ability to visually inspect product as defined in the LVP Visual Inspection SOP or any related SOP.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12, Matric
• Annually renewed, valid Visual Inspector Qualification is mandatory for this role
• Good eyesight is a pre-requisite.  (Pass the medical eye test)
• Must be legible to qualify as an LVP Visual Inspector
• An existing valid qualification will be advantageous

Description

• To provide products to visual inspection line, as well as palletize finished products and send to warehouse.
• Remove product from autoclave
• Stage product in designated areas for visual inspection lines
• Verify correctness of batches staged for packing/inspection
• Check print on the carton/bag to verify correctness of batch details
• Relieve inspection line feeders during breaks
• Transfer finished products from inspection line onto pallets
• Operate the cartoner and ensure material availability
• Transports materials as instructed from receiving lift to designated process areas
• Transports finished product from the packing area to transfer lifts as instructed

Description

• To autoclave product in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Carries out all pre-sterilisation checks according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Starts sterilization cycle
• Records and checks specific items as per Standard Operating Procedures
• Removes trolleys from the autoclave at the end of the sterilization cycle
• Places trolleys in the Prelim. Packing area
• Ensures that the autoclave and surrounding area are clean and tidy at all times
• Assists with Multivac / bottle line component handling
• Informs timeously, any process and technical problems to the team leader and the responsible technician
• Responsible for checking the physical condition of all trucks and trays
• Responsible for correct staging of trucks and trays

Requirements

• Ensure that correct raw materials from dispensary are staged and checked before mixing commences.
• Collect water for bulk mixes as per batch document.
• Assist with all daily mixing activities
• To do transfers of products, under supervision, to the filling room.
• Ensure that equipment used is in a good condition at all times (i.e. scales checked) and report any deviations /defects to the Process Leader/Production Pharmacist.
• Responsible for cleaning all equipment used during the daily tasks and keep a record of such cleaning by completing relevant log books
