Mixing Operator at Fresenius Kabi

Requirements

• Ensure that correct raw materials from dispensary are staged and checked before mixing commences.
• Collect water for bulk mixes as per batch document.
• Assist with all daily mixing activities
• To do transfers of products, under supervision, to the filling room.
• Ensure that equipment used is in a good condition at all times (i.e. scales checked) and report any deviations /defects to the Process Leader/Production Pharmacist.
• Responsible for cleaning all equipment used during the daily tasks and keep a record of such cleaning by completing relevant log books
• Responsible for cleaning the mixing, gowning, raw material staging rooms and keep them in good order.
• Responsible for sanitizing the area daily.
• Responsible for returns of all containers and raw materials back to the dispensary.
• Completion of relevant sections of the batch book.
• Assist with CIP and sanitisation in the ASMS.
• Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedure rules and regulations relevant to the process activity.
• Carry out any necessary documentation as per the Standard Operating Procedure (process records, etc.).
• Train identified personnel on all related items relevant to operation and maintenance of the equipment.
• Ensure daily target is met
• Taking of samples
• Preparation of disinfectants
• From time to time carry out other jobs within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent
• Cleanliness and condition of area and equipment
• Preparation for compounding
• Compounding of raw materials
• Preparation and storage of pipes
• Computer literacy
• GMP Compliance
