    New Business Development Manager - Randburg

    Key Responsibilities

    • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with potential clients to build a strong sales pipeline.

    Video Editor - Cape Town

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Normal video editing duties to tell compelling stories and convey the intended message. 
    • Collaborate closely with our Senior Editors and the creative team to understand project objectives and vision. 
    • Maintain neat systems and meticulously labelled project files. 
    • Ensure all footage and delivered material is stored and/or archived to the Media24-allocated server.  
    • Assist with music selection from music libraries.  
    • Assist with image selection from stock libraries, if needed.  
    • Manage own workflow and give regular progress reports and updates to their relevant Senior Editor. 
    • Should be able to be comfortable accommodating multiple notes from the broadcaster, the Creative Producer and other stakeholders. 
    • Identify and implement improvements in the video editing process  
    • Continuously stay updated with industry trends and software to ensure the highest quality output,

    Skills you require:

    • Competency with motion graphics templates. 
    • Experience with colour grading for broadcast will be a bonus. 
    • Highly proficient in Adobe Premier Pro and Da Vinci an advantage
    • A solid understanding of cloud service is required.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team. 
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. 
    • A passion for storytelling and visual storytelling techniques. 
    • A positive disposition. 
    • Creativity.
    • Organised, goal-orientated and highly driven. 
    • Understand the technical processes involved in television production. 
    • Have strong problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills.

    Additional requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary education

    Account Manager: Son Newspaper Print and Digital

    Job Outputs     

    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

    • Knowledge of Web Analytic tools advantageous
    • Experience dealing with advertising agencies.
