Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & experience required:

• Fair knowledge across all SAP modules

Technical skills required:

• S/4HANA Functional experience

• The Trino Reporting Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust reporting solutions using Trino (formerly PrestoSQL).
• This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient data solutions.
• Design and implement reporting solutions using Trino to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize and tune Trino queries for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & experience required:

• Matric (Senior Certificate).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in data architecture advantageous.
• 5 years minimum proven experience as a Reporting Architect with a focus on Trino.

Technical skills & experience required:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Trino or PrestoSQL.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

• 3+ years’ experience in SQL (advantageous)
• Azure Certified AZ-900 exam (advantageous)

Essential Skills Requirements:

• Design and implement performant Python applications.
• Write and maintain comprehensive test cases.
• CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform)
• Experience in ETL pipelines.
