    Implementation Consultant - Johannesburg

    Responsibilities

    • Fundamental understanding and ability to utilize business process driven design, object oriented programming, data models, and service oriented enterprise architecture/technology stacks to translate functional business use cases into scalable and maintainable technical solutions that are aligned with nCino gold standards.
    • Apply high degree of technical expertise on the nCino product with Salesforce declarative and programmatic automation tools, data integration and deployment tools/API's, and enterprise application architecture best practices, in both a consultative and hands-on fashion to ensure a healthy technical ecosystem and long term customer success.
    • Develop and document POCs (Proof of Concepts) for net new nCino release functionality, unique project business cases, or validating architecture limits on the SFDC platform to ensure business needs and product scalability are met
    • Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues and defects collaboratively with team members during build/QA working sessions utilizing a variety of tools to quickly mitigate project blockers and impediments
    • Enable project stakeholders to facilitate solution designs and guide overall technical implementation. Validates overall design and fit gap analysis to identify technical challenges, process improvements, and business risk trade-offs against nCino and financial services industry best practices.
    • Collaborate and consult with project stakeholders to perform technical quality reviews of in-progress builds per sprint, ensuring business requirements adhere to nCino and Salesforce best practices that align to proven technical solutions for overall implementation quality.
    • Empower customers as the nCino change agent and trusted advisor, promoting change and release management philosophies to ensure optimal user adoption of new business technologies
    • Contribute to innovation within the team by identifying unique and complex business cases and create re-usable solution components, tools, processes, and documentation to benefit internal stakeholders and ongoing projects for evolving functional use cases and technical solutions
    • Coach and mentor junior team members to hone their craft as nCino experts and world class consultants

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience or combination of client-facing consulting and/or Salesforce/SaaS enterprise architecture or related application configuration technical experience 
    • Salesforce Administrator certification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
    • Salesforce App Builder certification, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
    • Salesforce Platform Dev 1, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud certification(s) or the ability to obtain within 24 months of employment 
    • Declarative automation/tooling solutioning experience (e.g.  Flow)
    • Data management modeling, querying (SQL, SOQL, SOSL), conversion, and integration experience leveraging DataLoader and/or industry common middleware tools (e.g. Informatica, Mulesoft, Kafka)
    • Environment and release management experience (DevOps) leveraging Application Lifecycle Management, CI/CD, Testing, and Source Control tools/processes (e.g. AutoRabit, Copado, SFDX)
    • Sharing and visibility security experience (e.g. Role Hierarchy, Sharing Settings/Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets/Groups)
    • Agile project methodology and/or Enterprise project life cycle(s) experience and associated tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow)
    • Assist functional solutioning during project design and build sprints by leveraging up to date financial services domain subject matter expertise, knowledge, and processes as it relates to the primary business value of the nCino product
    • Strong analytical and presentation skills to articulate findings in a clear and concise manner, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Passionate and enthusiastic team player that collaboratively delivers a high-quality solution to financial services customers with an all-in commitment to ensure long-term customer satisfaction
    • Be a results-driven self-starter who takes initiative, solicits, and listens to feedback, while working effectively in a rapidly changing environment

    Desired:

    • Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Developer 1 certifications preferred
    • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud/Sales Cloud or core Salesforce CRM objects (e.g. Accounts/Person Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities) 
    • Analysis of custom programmatic automation, integration, and GUI experience (e.g. Apex, VisualForce and/or Lightning Web Components)
    • Identity and access management experience (e.g. SSO, JIT Handler)

    Support Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Learn the nCino Bank Operating System, become Salesforce.com certified with at least two certifications, and obtain general banking knowledge
    • Serve as Primary Support Engineer for one or more customers and hold weekly case calls
    • Communicate regularly with your customers via case, email and phone to ensure satisfaction with the nCino product
    • Analyse customer business processes and solution based on platform functionality
    • Research, troubleshoot, replicate and resolve customer reported error messages, questions, and configuration enhancements
    • Implement new features, feature enhancements, and major/minor releases in customer environments
    • Deliver excellence in customer service by resolving cases with quality, efficiency, and high customer satisfaction
    • Continuously meet and exceed your customer’s SLAs for case response, customer communication, and resolution time
    • Apply Knowledge Centered Service methodology to capture, structure, reuse and improve articles as part of case management process
    • Consult with the customer on nCino Gold Standards for feature implementation, usage and optimization
    • Collaborate with Product Development, Data Services and Customer Success Managers when necessary
    • Team members will be required to participate in the on-call rotation

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
    • 2+ years functional experience, or combination of experience, education
    • Demonstrated dedication to customer service, customer satisfaction, and quality technical case work
    • Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

    Desired:

    • Knowledge of Salesforce
    • SQL/SOQL or related Database Experience
    • Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Certified App Builder
    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems/computer science/ information technology or Related Field
    • Experience with the Salesforce Platform, particularly supporting managed packages.

    Principal Project Manager - Banking Solutions

    Responsibilities

    • Learn the Salesforce platform and nCino Bank Operating System Application
    • Become Salesforce.com certified with at least two different certifications within your first six months
    • Work in tandem with your nCino Implementation Consultant to evaluate the needs, processes, and policies of your client base, configure the nCino system in the most efficient way possible to meet those needs, and ultimately implement the system within the institution
    • Oversee all aspects of the software implementation project that typically lasts 10-16 weeks
    • Manage daily project load amongst three to four concurrent clients and answer all project related questions in a timely manner
    • Be able to correctly understand, organise and evaluate the risks and needs of the client to identify large issues, potential obstacles and risks
    • Write two customer facing nCino Knowledge articles per quarter from issues that have arisen and the solutions identified during the implementation process
    • Create and manage Project Plans and lead regular Project status meetings for each client
    • Demo and train customers on the use of the nCino software as part of the implementation process
    • Assist customers with user acceptance testing of the nCino Bank Operating System
    • Oversee customers when they go-live on the nCino software and manage the handoff to the nCino Support and Customer Success Team

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 8 years of previous financial industry experience; specifically, a commercial or SBA lending background and familiarity of banking language and processes or a combination of experience, education
    • Familiar with local banking regulations and governance
    • Exceptional communication skills and an innovative problem solving personality
    • Proven ability to interact and communicate with customers in a professional, positive and constructive way; comfortable with public speaking and leading a meeting
    • Ability and motivation to learn quickly and independently
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks, projects and workload to deliver according to the project schedule
    • Strong analytical mindset; being able to observe a client’s current process and analyse how the nCino product will benefit them
    • Strong leadership skills; previous managerial and project management experience preferred
    • Ability to present and explain project specific information to diverse types of audiences
    • Strong ability to define and document business and functional requirements, business process maps ("As-Is/To be") flows and diagrams
    • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
    • Fluent in English; additional language fluency preferred including Spanish, German and/or French
    • Ability to work outside of standard business hours as necessary

    Desired:

    • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com or systems built on relational databases a big plus

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
