    Safetycloud Samtrac Trainer, Richards Bay

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Planning and preparing for training sessions by preparing training material and ensuring that all the equipment is functional.
    • To present training material at the appropriate level in relation to audience's existing skills, knowledge and taking into account any potential learning barriers presented by language, cultural, socio-economic and other factors by using the most appropriate training methods.
    • To facilitate training in accordance with SAQA/SETA/NOSA/QCTO requirements and Quality Management Systems.
    • To moderate and assess learners in accordance with the SETA/NOSA code of conduct
    • To provide confidential assessment feedback to learners in accordance with the SETA/QCTO/NOSA Quality Management System requirements.
    • To complete all Portfolios of Evidence in accordance with the relevant assessment guides and Quality Management System work instructions, and to ensure the security and confidentiality thereof.
    • To market NOSA by answering client queries, identifying and utilising marketing opportunities during the presentation of training.
    • To engage in continuous self-development activities such as seminars, or other relevant training courses, in order to keep up-to-date with NOSA products, safety, health, environment and ETD best practices.
    • To ensure personal responsibility for assessor/moderator registrations with all relevant SETA’s are current and valid and ensure Training Manager receives copies of these.
    • Adhere and conform to the NOSA Quality Management System.

    Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12).
    • Minimum 2 years HSE training experience.
    • Minimum 5 years industry experience.
    • Accredited Train the Trainer, with registration as Assessor and Moderator.
    • National Diploma in Safety Management, SAMTRAC certificate or equivalent.
    • ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 certificates (advantageous).
    • Own reliable vehicle.
    • Willing to travel.
    • Fluent in English and at least 1 of the other national languages, will be advantageous.
    • Experience in MS Office.
    • Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.

    Safetycloud Printroom Administrator, Centurion

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate digital printers and finishing equipment (e.g. guillotine, binding machines, laminator)
    • Perform pre-press checks and imposition for various print jobs
    • Handle post-production tasks: trimming, collating, binding, packaging
    • Monitor print quality and equipment performance
    • Manage inventory and consumables; liaise with suppliers and vendors
    • Log maintenance and service calls; coordinate with technicians
    • Provide administrative support and assist internal clients with print requests

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years in a pre-press or digital production print environment.
    • 2 years experience operating digital print and finishing equipment.
    • Matric or equivalent required.
    • Technical training in print production/reprographics is essential.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
    • Excellent time management and ability to handle high-volume workloads.
    • Competence in CorelDRAW, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word & Excel.
    • Knowledge of Fiery Print Server and Quite Imposing (or similar).
    • Understanding of variable data printing and colour management.
    • Experience with Xerox/Canon production printers (Advantageous).
    • Familiarity with a wide range of print-ready file formats (PDF, AI, CDR, etc.) (Advantageous).
    • Creative problem-solving and a proactive, team-oriented attitude (Advantageous).

    Assurecloud Driver, Cape Town

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sample Reception & Logging:

    • Receive and inspect incoming samples, verifying all accompanying documentation (e.g., chain of custody, sample submission forms).
    • Log samples accurately into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and assign unique identification numbers for traceability.
    • Ensure samples are labeled clearly and stored according to required conditions (e.g., chilled, frozen, ambient) as per laboratory protocols.
    • Communicate with clients or couriers regarding discrepancies, missing information, or improper sample packaging.
    • Prepare samples for transfer to relevant analytical departments within the required turnaround times.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and biosecure reception area in line with laboratory hygiene protocols.
    • Assist with the archiving or disposal of samples according to laboratory retention policies.
    • Ensure the relevant documents are completed and present for sample traceability.

    Sample Collection & Delivery:

    • Perform regular deliveries and collections of samples to/from clients, couriers, or other facilities, ensuring all samples are transported under the correct conditions.
    • Pack samples securely and ensure they are placed in the designated storage areas upon return to the laboratory.
    • Conduct sampling as required, adhering to prescribed sampling procedures.
    • Ensure that all vehicle-related documentation (e.g., petrol slips) is maintained accurately.
    • Report any issues or incidents with the vehicle to the laboratory manager immediately, no later than the close of business.
    • Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working order at all times.
    • Always be available to receive instructions from the office and communicate any challenges or concerns promptly.

    General Administrative & Logistical Support:

    • Ensure that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
    • Treat company property, including vehicles and laboratory equipment, with care and respect.
    • Assist with sample packing in order of collection, ensuring samples are stored properly in the designated fridge.
    • Support the laboratory team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
    • Be a point of contact for clients or couriers regarding sample-related queries or concerns.

    Requirements

    • Matric/Grade 12.
    • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology.
    • Valid driver’s license required. 
    • Prior experience in a laboratory, logistics, or related environment (Advantageous).
    • Experience with sample management or handling (Advantageous).
    • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data entry systems).
    • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or sample tracking software (Advantageous).
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Good written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
    • Polite and presentable when dealing with clients.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
