    Social Specialist

    Job Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the implementation, tracking and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns, on time and within budget - based on campaign strategy and KPI’s.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Achieve the minimum required turn-around time for campaign implementation
    • Implement the campaigns within 24 hours of receiving material from client/creative agency, after the campaign schedule is approved by client
    • Send updated and accurate creative matrix to the creative agency within 24 hours after being briefed into campaign management
    • Inform the digital agency of any requirements (website creation/updates, tracking codes/pixels, social media channels and access, social media posts, etc) for effective implementation of the campaign before campaign start date
    • Pre-check all the received assets from the client/creative agency/digital agency, and communicate any irregularities or errors to the planner and strategist within 4 hours of receiving the assets
    • Send screenshots (proof of fighting) to client, copying all relevant parties within 24 hours of going live
    • Monitor and manage the budgets on all self-managed platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, Youtube, etc) to ensure that campaigns do not over-spend
    • Continuously keep up to date with changes made within all digital buying platforms and ensure all team members are fully aware of platform changes
    • Complete all relevant digital platform (Adwords, Facebook, DoubleClick)
    • Monitor the campaign results on a regular basis to ensure accurate and effective management and reporting of campaigns
    • Meet all campaign KPI’s or flag potential campaign underperformance to Digital team before campaign end date
    • Suggest optimisation for better campaign performance to the team to ensure campaigns performs against agreed objectives
    • Continuously strive to increase ROI on a campaign by campaign basis and maximise campaign performance

    Compile and send reports to client weekly unless otherwise stipulated by client.  All reporting needs to include the following:

    • Recommendations for improvement
    • Key insights into the campaigns performance
    • Optimisation recommendations
    • Oversee intern in terms of accurate loading and training
    • Integrate and work closely with Head of Digital and Brand Teams (Digital and Offline).
    •  Report to and take direction from Head of TAAG.

    Qualifications

     SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Experienced cross-platform campaign manager with ability to work accurately and fast.
    • 5-8 year experience as a Social Specialist / Campaign Manager

    Junior Digital Reporting Specialist

    The Job Description:

    • A Digital Analyst is expected to be data driven and a solutionist thinker, who strives to make meaningful impact on the business. 
    • This role demands confidence, presence and the skills to make a meaningful impact. Never just taking and executing orders, analysts are expected to direct, inspire and add value at every turn.
    • A high level of collaboration, a willingness to teach others and a real desire to push the boundaries is what will be expected.
    • In addition, this role requires a high level of accountability and responsibility over the digital media investments we are entrusted to manage – all efforts need to be made to prevent under and over-spends. 
    • Some working outside the standard working hours may be necessary. 

    The Job Purpose:

    • To demonstrate real passion, care and vision for the brands in your portfolio.
    • To be accountable for the successful delivery of digital data analytics and effective management of the live digital dashboard.
    • Ensure collaboration and alignment with the internal team and agency partners.
    • To deliver ongoing incremental media improvements for optimized return on investment.  
    • Together with the team, successfully meet the client’s contracted KPI’s and the commercial targets.
    • Work closely with the Integrated Digital Traffic Managers to deliver reports and analytics on time – every time. Traffic managers ensures the smooth running, operations and output of the account are maintained in the most frictionless manner possible.
    • Resolve digital media related issues with a solution driven mindset, whilst maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, agency partners and clients. 
    • Work collaboratively with the Digital Strategists and Data Scientists who will direct overall thinking, but where you effectively and timeously deliver reports with insights and maintain the effective running of the live dashboard.
    • Work collaboratively with the portfolio’s digital planner.
    • Ensure budgets are properly managed and financial losses mitigated due to under / over-spends.
    • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain highest taxonomy standards.
    • Work collaboratively with the Head of Digital at Publicis Media. 
    • Drive the client’s digital transformation journey in Personalization @ Scale and their path to conversion optimization.
    • To grow the strategic reputation of the agency by delivering world-class analytics excellence.
    • To produce at least one thought-leadership article per annum.

    What you can expect in an average week:

    • You will be involved with numerous brand managers, so it’s important to develop a good understanding and identify specific business needs for each one.

    Your average week may include:

    • Attend internal operations meetings.
    • Produce and present data and insights reports. 
    • Effectively maintain the live digital dashboard – ensuring all connections points are maintaind.
    • Flagging optimization issues or concerns immediately.
    • Monitoring the performance of campaigns daily.
    • Prepare and deliver insights decks with the strategists and planners.
    • Be present and on time, to all required meetings.
    • Work collaboratively with our colleagues, global teams and creative agency partners.
    • Keep your Google, Facebook, Twitter and any other required media owner certifications up to date and participate in required training sessions.
    • Ensure that your time sheets are maintained and timeously updated.
