    Maintenance Technician -Kraaifontein

    Job Description
    Key Responsibilities May Include:

    • Perform hands-on fault diagnosis and repair of plant equipment, resolving issues efficiently to minimize operational downtime and maintain productivity.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to schedule and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
    • Manage spare parts inventory to guarantee stock availability, preventing delays in maintenance tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
    • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, documenting all maintenance activities, repairs, and downtime for tracking and reporting purposes.
    • Lead and manage capital projects, including coordination with contractors, ensuring schedules are met, and controlling related expenditures to ensure project success.

    • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
    • Ability to work effectively in a shift-based operation

    Advantageous Experience

    • PLC maintenance.
    • Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta or Festo systems.
    • Robotics experience, including YASKAWA.
    • Experience leading teams within a unionized environment

    About the Role

    • Drive the execution and professional standard of high-impact events industry, customer, and internal events.
    • Cultivate key business partnerships that enhance brand visibility, lead generation, and revenue growth through trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, webinars and strategic alliances that align with our business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Strategic Partnerships & Alliances

    • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade organizations, and key stakeholders.
    • Establish co-marketing initiatives with customers and relevant partners to drive brand awareness and joint business opportunities.
    • Negotiate and manage sponsorship and trade show deals, collaborations, and brand alliances that enhance business growth.
    • Develop engagement strategies to leverage partnerships for networking, knowledge sharing, and business expansion.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities.
    • Drive co-branded marketing initiatives and joint ventures that expand business reach and influence.

    • Lead and collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Operations and Leadership) to ensure event alignment with business goals.
    • Identify industry-relevant events and secure speaking opportunities for executives and subject matter experts, to establish thought leadership and advocacy.
    • Negotiate sponsorships and partnerships to maximize brand visibility and lead generation.

    Customer Retention

    • Develop a customer communication strategy selling our value proposition, sustainability and BBBEE status to customers;
    • Constantly build and maintain (in the department Shared Area) a record of key customers, industry contacts and co-ordinate and develop the relationship programs;
    • Work with sales teams in conjunction with the NPS program to develop and improve the customer retention strategy;
    • Project-manage the execution of the customer retention strategy.
