    Independent Financial Advisor

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The primary focus of the position relates to sales in our Medical Aid division; however, our unique holistic offering provides exciting opportunities across multiple platforms and providers. We furthermore provide Financial Advisors with continuous leads enabling the Advisor to build a growing practice

    Job Description

    • Identifying the financial needs of clients and / or leads and providing recommendations and advice;
    • Converting provided leads into sales;
    • Identifying new business opportunities;
    • Attracting new clients through various methods of prospecting, including cold calling;
    • Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy;
    • Reviewing clients’ complete financial portfolio and identifying cross-selling opportunities;
    • Achieve Medical Aid sales targets;
    • Manage client profiles;
    • Attend to clients’ annual reviews;
    • Client retention and continuous service;
    • Submit weekly production reports

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Grade 12 (NQF5 or similar qualification would be beneficial);
    • Regulatory Exams (RE5): non-negotiable;
    • Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience; previous sales experience in the financial services / medical scheme’s industry;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Outgoing, professional and presentable;
    • Motivated, independent and energetic;
    • Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle – non-negotiable;
    • Fit and proper to be registered on the FSCA Representative Register

    Additional Information

    • Salary: R15 000.00 CTC for six months, then becomes commission only + cell phone and petrol allowance; Medical Aid; Provident/Pension Fund; Group Risk Cover

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales, developing products and solutions and forging strong relationships with clients. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. To excel in this role, you should have a hunger to chase and close new business.

    Job Description
    Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
    • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
    • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
    • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
    • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

    Qualifications

    • Matric with at least 4 to 5 distinctions (Non-Negotiable)
    • Completed degree (Preferred degrees) (Non-negotiable): BEng/ BCom Investment Management/ BCom Accounting Sciences/ BCom Financial Services
    • Own reliable transport
    • Must be willing to travel internationally
    • Must be willing to immigrate
    • Must be willing and able to work more than just office hours depending on workload and designated region time differences
    • Well presented
    • Strong communication skills and IT fluency

    Additional Information

    • Salary: R18 000 – R25 000 per month - depending on experience and qualifications

    Junior Quantity Surveyor / Tender Administrator (Electronic Security Industry)

    Job Description

    • Preparing tender documents and contracts
    • Preparing Bill of Quantities.
    • Preparation interim monthly Valuations and Claims
    • Preparation works for Final accounts - Client and Sub-contractors
    • Measuring on site
    • Provide progress reports on projects
    • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders considering plans and using best available price.
    • Conduct tender evaluation.
    • Minimise the project cost
    • Provide advice on contractual claims and manage variations.
    • Attend site progress meetings.
    • Produce periodic detailed project progress reports and analyse project outcomes relative to project plan including cost reports and variation orders.
    • Attend tender briefing meetings.
    • Comply with internal policies, procedures, systems and controls.
    • Perform other general estimating or QS functions.

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Quantity surveying diploma/degree preferred
    • Minimum 2 – 4 years’ relevant experience
    • Knowledgeable in JBCC contracts
    • Experience with: CCS, Buildsmart, WinQS, DMX etc will be an advantage
    • IT Experience/Knowledge
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Ability to negotiate prices with contractors and suppliers
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Adobe DC and Outlook experience
    • Valid drivers’ licence and own transport
    • Ability to read drawings. 

    Additional Information

    • Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 per month + Benefits, depending on experience

    Creditors/Bookkeeper (Property Industry)

    Company Description
    Our client, a property market Leader in South Africa, are currently looking for a Creditors/Bookkeeper, who can start as soon as possible, or immediately at their offices in Stellenbosch. Prefereably someone who has worked in a similar position, within a Property company, or within the property industry, that understands the MDA Property System.

    Job Description

    • Complete credit application for new creditors
    • Ensure all creditor invoices and statements are received, captured and paid on time
    • Liaise with suppliers on account related matters, outstanding invoices, statements etc
    • Ensure all invoices comply with VAT requirements of a valid ‘tax invoice’
    • Complete creditors reconciliations (attach all necessary documentation)
    • Ensure all repairs and maintenance costs are allocated accordingly and has been recovered from tenants where indicated by RM’s

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • At least 2+ year’s solid bookkeeping experience
    • Bookkeeping course advantageous
    • Demonstrates an ability to work independently on most tasks
    • Focus on the finer detail of tracking and managing finance
    • Computer Literate on MDA
    • Adheres to daily/ weekly / monthly schedule
    • Completes to trial balance and prepare management accounts

    Additional Information

    • Salary: R16 000 per month
