    Trustee Fiduciary Specialist

    To provide a holistic, customised legacy planning solution / advice across jurisdictions to clients in order to optimize their tax position, asset protection and ensure the smooth transition of their assets to relevant heirs after passing.

       Responsibilities

    • Continuously focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations
    • Identify and implement on opportunities for revenue growth in order to deliver on targets
    • Build and maintain an effective network and pipeline for further expansion of business within area of accountability
    • Provide new appropriate business opportunities across the business to clients
    • Provide subject matter expertise
    • Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
    • Actively coach team through providing advice about subject matter, solutions, principles and processes, and personal progression with the aim to improve performance
    • Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
    • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions

    Additional Requirements

    • In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum Qualification: Relevant Diploma in Taxation
    • Preferred Qualification:  Relevant Degree in Taxation or Certified Financial Planner.
    • Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level. Minimum of 3 years estate planning experience with significant offshore exposure

    Certified Financial Planner

    To provide appropriate risk and investment advice, expertise and support to clients in order to assist them in achieving their financial goals, whilst adhering to FAIS compliance requirements, within the FNB Premium advisory sales and product mandates and targets.

    Responsibilities:  

    • Ensure profit growth for the business through effective financial advisory services.
    • Deliver exceptional and high quality advice that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
    • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders in order to achieve productivity synergies.
    • Determine strategies for meeting clients' financial objectives through analysis of clients’ financial information and providing expert advice.
    • Identify new business opportunities and forward these leads to the appropriate product house to ensure cross sell opportunities.
    • Grow portfolio and increase customer base by managing existing clients, generating new leads and growing active customer account base.
    • Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
    • Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
    • Develop and nurture internal relationships within FNB enabling collaboration.   

    Qualifications and Experience:              

    • Minimum: Necessary regulatory requirements: RE, NQF5 or Diploma in Financial Planning.
    • Preferred: CFP.
    • Minimum: 2-3 years’ experience in Financial Planning
