    Trade Support Analyst

    • Join us as a Trade Support Analyst in our Backoffice Trade Support team where you will be focused on monitoring and ensuring that the risk-reward balance within the business is clearly understood by senior management, and that the physical exposure, such as Listed Oil, Power Gas, and Carbon, is accurately valued. This role requires an individual who can offer strong support and maintain a proactive, clear communication style, working closely with the Trade Support Manager, Brokers, and Risk Management teams to ensure effective coordination and alignment.

    GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

    • Broker recap/Commissions – Verifying/ reconcile Broker recaps and EOM Invoices for OTC Swaps/Options and Exchange Traded Futures.
    • Bilateral Confirmations – Issuing and checking counterparty confirmations either electronically via E-confirm or Paper Confirmations.
    • Internal Checks – Check Internal Futures and Swaps with Singapore/US along with intersystem activity.
    • BFOET Partials – Issuing and checking Incoming Confirmations.
    • EOM costs allocations – IM and Costs allocations to the desk.
    • Ensure practices abide by internal guidelines and external regulations.
    • Develop innovative ways to improve procedures.
    • Respond to queries and issues raised by brokers.
    • Liaise with line managers to ensure effective delivery of service and information.
    • Provide basic trouble shooting and identify issues.
    • Escalate incidents immediately when required.
    • Produce daily, monthly and annual reports where required.
    • Any other ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time.

    QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Diploma in Finance, commerce, accounting etc. (NQF6)

    Experience:

    • Prior relevant work experience of 1 to 2 years’ is preferred.
    • Trade experience is advantageous.
    • Account reconciliation experience advantageous.
    • Awareness of market and industry trends.
    • Coding skills in VBA, Python advantageous.
    • Computer literate MS Office. Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.

    Engineering Superintendent

    • We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in Witbank, Mpumalanga.

    Engineering Superintendent

    • The incumbent in this role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and execution of the maintenance plan in areas of responsibility, focusing on safety the selection, development, support and optimal utilization of people and adherence to systems and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implementing and managing maintenance plans for areas of responsibility and communicating monthly and weekly maintenance targets; and monitoring and offering technical guidance to Supervisors to ensure the safe delivery of targets.
    • Managing resource capability, allocation, utilisation and driving the delivery of targets and equipment availability.
    • Measuring the performance of Supervisors, providing guidance and coaching through the implementation of good standards and best practice.
    • Ensuring adherence to Legislation, Policies, Procedures, Standards and Operating Procedures in areas of responsibility.
    • Engaging relevant stakeholders to solve operational problems in areas of responsibility as necessary.
    • Ensuring that daily performance monitoring and interventions are in place to support and correct performance in areas of responsibility.

    Minimum Qualifications and experience

    • N6 Certificate with engineering subjects and valid Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic/ Fitting/ Electrical) and a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Engineering Supervisor; OR
    • A relevant Engineering Tertiary Qualification (NQF Level 7) and completion of the Graduate Development Programme.
    • GCC will be an added advantage.

    Driver (Forklift)

     QUALIFICATIONS

    •  Grade 12
    • Driver’s License (Code 08 or 10)
    • Forklift drivers’ license

    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • One (1) year relevant experience in a heavy industry environment
    • Good communication skills

    JOB OBJECTIVES
    The incumbent will be responsible to the Artisan Coordinator for:

    • Driving the Forklift, Tractor and Light Delivery Vehicle
    • Overtime will be worked when and so required
    • Shift work can be expected during shutdowns

    Coordinator Group Procurement

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Proactively manage complex, high-value contracts, ensuring timely execution of price adjustments, scope amendments, and escalation mechanisms (e.g., steel indexation, cost triggers, quarterly reviews).
    • Conduct detailed market and benchmark analyses to support price negotiations and contract adjustments.
    • Analyse procurement spend data to identify opportunities to increase contract coverage and leverage cost-saving opportunities.
    • Identify and action contract expansion areas by adding non-contracted items or enhancing scope with current suppliers.
    • Lead sourcing events including RFPs, RFIs, and tactical/strategic tenders for critical and high-value commodities.
    • Assemble cross-functional teams to provide technical input for drafting accurate and comprehensive scopes of work or supply.
    • Develop balanced scorecards and commercial evaluations for Tender Adjudication Committees and Delegation of Authority submissions.
    • Draft and negotiate long-term supply and service agreements, addendums, and commercial terms.
    • Ensure contracts are aligned with technical, quality, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain up-to-date contract records in SAP and Coupa systems.
    • Ensure adherence to Glencore’s governance frameworks, including HSEC and anti-fraud protocols.
    • Report procurement-related incidents (e.g., suspected fraud) promptly and accurately.
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and operational support to Group Procurement Administrators on sourcing activities, contract management, and scenario analysis during tender processes.
    • Drive procurement excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • NQF 5 qualification in supply chain management or similar / related field.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management (At least 2 years’ experience in the mining industry will be advantage)
    • Full compliance to HSEC policies and requirements
    • Good verbal and written communication skills 
    • Good interpersonal skills (including negotiations, conflict handling) 
    • Proficiency in SAP Material Management Module
    • Analytical competencies
    • PC Literacy - Sound MS Office Knowledge
