    Supervisor: Advanced Data Analytics - Digital Consulting

    We are looking for experience data engineers to consult on both a functional and technical level to design and implement leading practice modern data warehousing cloud solutions and assist our clients in navigating through the journey.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    ·       Designing, developing, testing and maintaining data architectures

    ·       Designing, developing, and testing large stream data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, clean, and distribute data models ready for analysis

    ·       Ensuring the highest standard in data integrity

    ·       Collaborating with other engineers, ML experts, analysts, and stakeholders to produce the most efficient and valuable solutions

    ·       Leveraging best practices in continuous integration and delivery

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree in Computer Science, information systems , Engineering or equivalent experience 

    • 2-3 years relevant industry experience

    • Experience developing ETL processes using Databricks and Python

    • Exposure to Azure, AWS or GCP cloud technology (Proof of certification or work experience required)

    • Experience with data lakes and data warehousing architectures in cloud environments

    • Experience with data visualisation and modelling tools (Power BI or Tableau or similar)

    • Experience with DevOps related practices and Continuous Integration and Delivery

    • Ability to lead teams technically

    • Microsoft D365FO, SAP S4 Hana or other related ERP experience is desirable

    • Consulting experience preferable

    Senior Analyst - Software Asset Management

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    The Contract Compliance Services service line sits KPMG Advisory’s Digital Consulting business unit. We provide services to clients who have contractual agreements with third parties (e.g., suppliers, vendors, customers, business partners, etc.) that typically involve an element of ‘self-reporting’ and contain audit clauses. We service clients in South Africa and across Africa. Our services are aimed at helping organisations improve their SAM maturity across the software lifecycle. This includes performing maturity assessments and roadmaps, development of processes and policies and conducting software license reviews to establish compliance against software contracts.
    Our clients are the some of the largest global organisations in software, financial sector, telecoms, media, oil & gas and consumer markets.
    We are looking for individuals with experience in both Software License Reviews and Software Asset Management Reviews. Candidates should have an understanding of financial, procurement and technical IT aspects related to managing software assets. Prior experience in internal audit would be an advantage. Expectations of the role includes:
    Write SAM reports
    Conduct software license reviews and ITAM maturity assessments
    Work independently with minimal supervision
    Perform analysis on complex data sets in line with license terms and conditions
    Business process mapping
