    Digital Content Editor II

    About the Role 

    • This position exists to review and analyze legislation, case law, court rules and other materials necessary for the production of LexisNexis primary law content and publications in all media, and to perform customer and marketing-related activities in accordance with business objectives. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Ensure Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness by planning, prioritizing, and collaborating with subject matter experts and vendors to deliver high-quality online content. 
    • Convert Legal Content for Digital Platforms and troubleshoot processing issues, sharing solutions across teams and jurisdictions to enhance customer experience. 
    • Maintain Quality Standards through root cause analysis of errors, addressing process issues across content types, products, and systems. 
    • Adhere to Best Practices for scheduling, tracking, and managing workflows while identifying and implementing process improvements. 
    • Manage Vendor Relationships by reviewing deliverables, auditing work, and applying effective communication practices to ensure consistent quality. 
    • Identify Stakeholders and Drive Solutions, proactively addressing new, broad, or recurring issues and crafting recommendations for improvement. 
    • Master Editorial Systems and LN Platforms, staying current with software updates and leveraging tools for analysis, reporting, and process optimization.

    Requirements:  

    • Have bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal degree, and Attorney admission 
    • Have one to two years of editorial experience. 
    • Have excellent command of English language with strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills. 
    • Have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, a positive attitude, and professional demeanor employed in routine contact with geographically diverse colleagues and customers. 
    • Able to adapt to changing business demands and have organizational skills. 
    • Be self-motivated and demonstrates initiative. 
    • Able to prioritize and multitask to meet critical deadlines. 
    • Able to learn quickly, retain, and become proficient in new software packages and technical skills including MS Office suite and XML mark-up language.

    Financial Crime Compliance Consultant

    About the Role

    • You will define and lead the execution of the Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) strategy across the LexisNexis Risk Solutions business in Africa. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will align strategic priorities, identify growth opportunities, and deliver outcomes that strengthen market position and customer value. This role focuses on translating insights into action, enabling revenue growth and impactful solutions across the region.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for achieving revenue targets and providing excellent customer experience
    • In partnership with other Market Planning team members, develops and executes an Africa FCC strategy, in alignment with global FCC priorities and the priorities of other functions across LNRS
    • Identify potential areas of growth for the FCC business across Africa and define strategy for accelerating revenue. Develop M&A opportunities in line with global FCC and business services strategy
    • Work closely with Product and Data teams to develop FCC Product strategies and roadmaps and associated business cases
    • Partner closely with Sales to win new business, expand existing relationships, and drive referrals
    • Partner closely with Marketing to expand market presence, heighten brand awareness and trust, and intelligently drive qualified leads to Sales
    • Partner with Professional Services on consultative selling and customer management

    Legal Content Analyst

    About the Role

    • In this role, you will lead the maintenance and development of high-quality legal content within the U.S. Criminal Law practice area. You will use your legal expertise, research skills, and interest in emerging technologies to ensure content remains current, practical, and valuable for customers. This role combines editorial ownership, legal analysis, and collaboration across global teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, own, and execute the content upkeep process for the U.S. Criminal Law practice area, including developing and maintaining workflows to ensure content is reviewed, updated, and published in accordance with business priorities and success metrics
    • Monitor current awareness sources, legal developments, legislation, regulations, agency guidance, court decisions, and other relevant changes in law affecting your practice area and assess the impact of those developments on existing Practical Guidance content
    • Perform legal research and editorial tasks associated with updating existing Practical Guidance content, including analyzing legal developments, identifying affected resources, determining the appropriate scope of updates, and ensuring content remains accurate, practical, and useful for customers
    • Draft, revise, and edit Practical Guidance content, ensuring that updates are clear, concise, legally accurate, and consistent with Practical Guidance editorial standards
    • Maintain and update key customer-facing resources, including legal development trackers and other high-use tools, to ensure timely coverage of significant developments
    • Oversee and execute Practical Guidance content remediation projects focused on improving the customer experience, including content quality, usability, navigation, organization, currency, and consistency across the area of law
    • Incorporate AI and emerging technologies into editorial workflows, including evaluating AI-generated or suggested content updates, validating legal accuracy, and ensuring quality standards are met
    • Partner with internal stakeholders, including LNNAUK, GPO, and GTO teams, to support content strategy, workflow improvements, product enhancements, and customer-focused initiatives

    Requirements

    • Legal qualification or equivalent legal expertise with experience in legal practice (Admitted Attorney)
    • Excellent command of the English language
    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across geographically diverse teams
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and ability to take initiative
    • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and priorities
    • Interest in technology, including Generative AI tools, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Copilot
