    Phlebotomist - Stellenbosch

    • The Senior Professional Nurse THEATRE Second in Command (2IC)  - Theatre supports the Hospital Manager in overseeing clinical and operational activities within a fast-paced Day Hospital environment. This role ensures high-quality patient care, efficient resource management, and compliance with healthcare standards, while providing leadership to nursing staff. The Second in Demand acts as a deputy to the Hospital Manager, facilitating seamless day-to-day operations in a cost-effective manner.

    CRITICAL OUTPUTS

    Clinical Oversight

    • Ensure safe, high-quality patient care for same-day surgical and medical procedures, adhering to South African Nursing Council (SANC) standards.
    • Monitor pre- and post-operative patient outcomes, coordinating with surgeons, anesthetists, and pharmacists.
    • Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and assist in minor procedures as needed.

    Staff Supervision
