    • The Professional Nurse/Clinical Nurse (Theatre Trained) is a professional who has a post basic qualification and remains responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of individualised, holistic and person centered nursing care of a patient, their families or the community, either performed directly or indirectly.

    Actuarial Analyst

    • The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for assisting the analyst team in data analysis and statistical reporting to the business. 
    • The incumbent will further be responsible to deliver business intelligence across a wide range of areas.

    Actuarial Analysis 

    • Understand the impact of hospital pricing and tariffs with the specific aim of developing Alternative Reimbursement Methods (ARM).

    Technical Services Supervisor (TSS)

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • The Technical Services Supervisor is responsible for managing risks related to Hospital Technical infrastructure and assets related to all plant and equipment.

    Hospital Billings Co-ordinator

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • The Hospital Billing Co-ordinator must have sound knowledge and understanding of the whole patient journey from Admit to Receipt. The person must also have a sound understanding of the Netcare Tariffs & Billing Guidelines (NTBG), Operating systems (incl. CareOn and SAP) and Business reporting. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all the processes that facilitate timeous final billing from all internal hospital departments.  This includes coordinating outputs from reception, ward, theatre, and pharmacy.  The function extends to gathering outputs required for final billing from doctors, pathology, radiology, and any other healthcare providers. The incumbent must be solution orientated and possess the necessary people skills to influence the gathering of outputs. The Hospital Billing Co-ordinator is required to maintain the channel of communication between the hospital and the Billing Operations Cluster (BOC).

    • The Administration Clerk is responsible for the completion of specific administrative duties which will include filing and data capturing within the Admin department.

    SKILLS PROFILE

    EDUCATION

    Essential

    • A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/ B Cur Degree) or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
    • Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislations
    • Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (ICU Trained)
    • A Willingness to complete a Qualification in Health Service Management

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    Essential

    • An intermediate level of Computer proficiency

    Preferred

    • 2 or more years’ experience in a private hospital setting
    • Experience in clinical leadership

    KNOWLEDGE

    Essential

    • Sound financial knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data
