    Senior Technology Sales Specialist

    Your day at NTT DATA

    • As a Senior Cross Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you'll play a key role in driving our business forward by identifying new opportunities and landing qualified leads. As a Sales Specialist, you are also responsible for generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base. You'll leverage your expertise to present tailored solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. From engaging directly with clients at various levels to working closely with internal subject matter experts, your day will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to make an impact.
    • You'll spend a significant amount of time actively involved in the sales process, collaborating with client managers and pre-sales architects to design the best solutions for our clients. By building and nurturing excellent relationships with both new and existing clients, you'll develop new business channels and territories, ensuring that we stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
    • Your role will involve supporting the entire sales process, from understanding client business goals to preparing and conducting workshops and presentations.     • With a client-centric approach, you'll address technology conceptual challenges, craft innovative solutions, and use your advanced negotiation skills to achieve sales targets. You'll support the wider territory sales plan and execute your strategy to discover and close new opportunities, making a significant contribution to our success.

    To thrive in this role, you need to have:

    • Advanced sales experience in a technology or services environment.
    • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
    • Demonstrable experience in solution-based selling with a track record of sales over-achievement.
    • Proficiency in developing and nurturing meaningful customer relationships up to senior leadership levels.
    • Skill in delivering engaging sales presentations.
    • Experience with team selling approaches.
    • Knowledge of competitors and the ability to apply successful sales strategies. 
    • Strong negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to customers, partners, and the organization.
    • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate sales forecasts and close plans.
    • A bachelor’s degree in information technology/systems, sales, or a related field.
    • Industry/Vendor sales certifications required.

    Senior Google Cloud Architect

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Google Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Google Cloud for clients in North America and Europe and Middle East & Africa. The Senior Google Cloud Architect is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for designing and may be required to implement complex cloud-based solutions that meet client’s business and technical requirements.
    • This role supports and influences sales teams by providing deep expertise in cloud computing technologies and architectures ensuring the effective design, deployment and operation of our cloud-based systems to meet client needs.
    • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation, and will play a key role in driving our cloud strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
    • This role has the opportunity to design solutions with some of the most innovative global organizations, technologies, accelerating the digital transformation business objectives and outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement cloud-native solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
    • Lead cloud architecture and infrastructure design sessions with stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
    • Ensure security best practices are followed in all cloud deployments.
    • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
    • Optimize cloud costs and monitor system performance.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
    • Stay current with Google Cloud services and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
    • Architect and implement end-to-end Google Cloud solutions tailored to client and internal project needs.
    • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
    • Viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the client and ensure technical solutions will accomplish the client's objectives.
    • Designs and architects’ cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.

    Required Qualifications and Knowledge:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Google Certified: Professional Cloud Architect (or equivalent).
    • Advanced knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Private Cloud, understanding the specific services offered by each platform.
    • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
    • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
    • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

    Preferred experience:

    • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
    • 5-7 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
    • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration (GKE).
    • Advanced familiarity with IaC tools and frameworks on hybrid or multi-cloud environments such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure resource Manager, or Google Cloud deployment Manager.
    • Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
    • Background in software development or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
    • Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
