    Data Scientist

    Your day at NTT DATA

    • The Machine Learning Engineer (ML Engineer) is a subject matter expert, tasked with participating in the adoption of deploying machine learning models, data science and analytics within the organization. 
    • The primary responsibility of this role is to participate in the creation and delivery of data-driven solutions that add business value using statistical models, machine learning algorithms, data mining, and visualization techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Designs, develops, and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
    • Designs and enhances data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
    • Accountable for ensuring that data used for analysis is processed, cleaned and, integrally verified and build algorithms necessary to find meaningful answers.
    • Designs and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
    • Accountable for providing meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
    • Accountable for performing analysis using programming languages or statistical packages such as Python, Javascript, etc.
    • Designs scalable and highly available applications leveraging the latest tools and technologies.
    • Accountable for creatively visualizing and effectively communicating results of data analysis, insights, and ideas in a variety of formats to key decision-makers within the business.
    • Creates SQL queries for the analysis of data and visualize the output of the models.
    • Creates documentation around processes and procedures and manages code reviews.
    • Accountable for ensuring that industry standards best practices are applied to development activities.

    Required experience:

    • Seasoned experience in a data science position in a corporate environment and/or related industry.
    • Seasoned experience in statistical modelling and data modelling, machine learning, data mining, unstructured data analytics, natural language processing.
    • Seasoned experience in programming languages (Javascript, Python, etc.).
    • Seasoned experience working with and creating data architectures.
    • Seasoned experience with extracting, cleaning, and transforming data and working with data owners to understand the data.

    Head of Solutions Architecture: HR

    • The Head of Solution Architect – HR bridges the gap between people & culture business objectives and IT functions by leading design and innovation with technology solutions.
    • This role is crucial in transforming strategies and architectural vision into complex solutions that address People & Culture needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Architecture Leadership: Design end-to-end architecture for People & Culture technology solutions, with SAP Success Factors as the core system.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with People & Culture leaders, IT, and business stakeholders to translate HR strategy into scalable IT solutions.
    • Solution Design: Develop solution designs, integration architecture, data flows, and technology roadmaps.

    Head of Business Architecture – HR

    • The Head of Business Architect – HR bridges the gap between People & Culture and IT functions by aligning to business objectives with IT systems, data flows and architecture standards. 
    • This role ensures People & Culture processes are effective enabled by technology solutions and supports regulatory, reporting, planning and financial control requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Alignment:

    • Understand the business strategy and operating model, and roadmap the realization of the target operating model, including practices delivering through countries, main portfolio models (IT Services, Tech Solutions, Capex Intensive), and scenarios for shared services.
    • Align business and solution architecture with with enterprise architecture and functions / business unit’s strategy and organization’s goals
    • Lead efforts to leverage emerging technologies and industry trends to shape future state architecture and drive transformation initiatives

    End-to-End Transformation Architecture Design & Development:

    • Manage the business process strategy, standards, taxonomy, and frameworks to standardize and implement. Liaise with BPOs who own operational processes to assess changes needed and relevant impacts to business, data, and system
    • Understand the best practice or fit-to-standard processes provided by our vendors and map to current ways of working in order to roadmap how to adopt more standard processes where necessary
    • Direct both business and solution architecture frameworks, ensuring integrated business processes, systems and technologies
    • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements, automation and innovation to achieve efficiencies and competitive advantage

    Cross-functional Collaboration :

    • Engage with executive leadership, business units and technology teams to understand business objectives and translate into architecture strategies

    Governance & Compliance:

    •  Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards and governance frameworks to ensure alignment and consistency across business and IT landscape.
