    Senior Associate Configuration Analyst

    Your day at NTT DATA

    • The Senior Associate Configuration Analyst is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for working closely with internal teams to ensure the implementation of the company's configuration management policy and standards in less complex environments.
    • The primary responsibility of this role is to define and control the components of services and infrastructure and maintain accurate configuration records.
    • The Senior Associate Configuration Analyst conducts presentations to educate and train users on the use of the configuration process.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Offers detailed support related to the configuration management process.
    • Works on strategic projects to govern the configuration management processes.
    • Participates in the evaluation of existing configuration management systems and the design, implementation and management of new / improved systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Conducts presentation to educate and trains users on the use of the configuration process.
    • Manages stakeholder relationships by proactively engaging with clients.
    • Works closely with internal clients to extract and compiles monthly reports as defined and agreed.
    • Brings subject matter expertise in the evaluation of proprietary configuration management tools and recommend those that best meet the organization’s budget, resource, timescale and technical requirements.
    • Ensures compliance with laid down procedures by contributing and participating in both internal and external audits.
    • Performs any other related task as required.

    Academic qualifications and certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Computer Science or Information Technology field, or related field.
    • ITIL certification preferred.
    • Intermediate Certificate in Release Control and Validation preferred.
    • Coding experience beneficial
    • Experience in AI or related field beneficial

    Required experience:

    • Moderate level of demonstrable experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Moderate level of experience analyzing process and recommending improvements.
    • Moderate level of experience with a concentration and firm understanding of business practices

    Cloud Pre-sales Architect

    • The Cloud Pre-sales Architect is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting with defining the architecture for large systems.
    • This role assists with conducting system design activities to ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
    • The Cloud Pre-sales Architect participates in architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems that support and seek to solve complex business and technical problems.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Participate in system design activities and proactively support the review of detailed application, software, and system components across a variety of technology stacks.
    • Receives instructions to ensure architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
    • Assists with the review of existing system architecture and recommend improvements
    • Takes direction from various stakeholders to investigate and scope change requests to determine the scale of work to be done and estimate the timeframe and input required.
    • Proactively supports the determining system loads and volumes as input into infrastructure requirements.
    • Receives instructions to ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with the company’s goals and strategies.
    • Proactively supports the design and development of new systems and solutions.
    • Receives instructions to ensure that new systems and solutions conform to current system architecture and/or align to strategic system architectural direction.
    • Takes direction from various stakeholders to conduct architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems that support and seek to solve complex business and technical problems.
    • Receives instructions to identify, evaluate, and assess risks in order to mitigate them and eliminate any factor that may interfere or hinder the delivery of the architectural solution and dependent functional requirements
    • Assists with the implementation of processes for integrating architectural solutions.
    • Proactively supports the implementation of architectural governance, standards, metrics for measuring, monitoring and improving architecture.
    • Proactively supports the implementation of and/or maintain the use of fitness functions to ensure architectural success.
    • Contributes to identifying potential problems that could be remediated by more effective architectural solutions.

    • Developing knowledge of clean code concepts, design patterns, test driven (TDD) and behavioral driven development (BDD).

    Academic qualifications and certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect); TOGAF preferred.
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) (optional but beneficial)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (Optional but good)

    Required experience:

    • 5+ years in cloud architecture or presales roles
    • Proven track record in Azure solution design, cost optimization, and migration strategies
    • Experience in customer workshops, RFP/RFI responses, and technical presentations
    • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and hybrid architectures
    • Exposure to industry verticals (e.g., banking, insurance, retail) for tailored solutions

    Skills:

    • Technical: Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; Networking; Identity & Access Management; Security & Compliance; Cost Management
    • Presales: Solution positioning, value articulation, proposal writing, demo delivery
    • Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, storytelling
    • Tools: Azure Portal, ARM templates, Terraform, PowerShell, Cost calculators
