What will you do?
Manage and Development of staff
Design and implement process to administer with regards to policy replacements, and tracking of SLA
Report writing and providing feedback to various stakeholders
Ensure full record keeping of non-compliance
Identification of all termination events affecting policy replacements
Handling of complaints and creating a central contact point for complaints
Dealing with complaints referral to replacing insurer
Represent Sanlam Sky at the policy replacements Tribunal
Ensure Stakeholder awareness on the policy replacement standard
What will make you successful in this role?
At least three years’ experience in the Insurance industry
Experience as a Replacement Officer advantageous

What will you do?
Output/Core Tasks:
As the line manager to 8 actuarial professionals, you will be responsible for the following Sanlam Life, SDM, Channel, African Rainbow Life and Safrican reporting requirements:
Regulatory reporting (emanating from the Solvency Assessment and Management (SAM) program) for both Base and ORSA scenarios - Own Funds, Technical Provisions and SCR calculations
International Capital Standards (ICS) Reporting
Stochastic calculations and consolidation of Guarantee reserves
The team as a whole is responsible for the following tasks:
Perform asset stresses, co-ordinate the liability stressing process, and consolidate the results obtained in order to calculate the SCR, ORSA and ICS results
Explanation of the quarterly and annual SAM results to senior management, including the Heads of Actuarial Functions and Heads of Actuarial Reporting of Sanlam Life, SDM, ARL and Safrican
Reporting of quarterly and annual SAM results to the regulator via the SAM QRTs, using the existing HFM process
Identify, investigate and implement capital optimisation measures
Collaborate with Risk and Balance Sheet management team on projection of future capital requirements
Interact with internal and external auditors as part of the valuation process, and to close identified gaps
Interpret and implement changes in the Regulatory Prudential Standards and related guidance, pertaining to Reporting
Continuous improvement and automation of existing Regulatory reporting processes, including assisting with the embedment of an Actuarial Results Warehouse and an improved Asset Stressing Tool in SAP HANA
Ad-hoc Regulatory Reporting related investigations and tasks, including interacting with the wider business to resolve queries and respond to regulatory requests
Engage with the asset data warehouse team to ensure that the asset data received is suitable for solvency reporting
Regulatory and ORSA-related engagement and support to the Sanlam Group solvency processes as well as other life licence entities within SRA, Sanlam Corporate and Sanlam Retail Mass
Management of the Economic Scenario Generation calibration process
Management of the IGR and Regulatory Reporting stochastic liability calculations for Sanlam Life SRA, Sanlam Life SC, SDM and Namibia
Reporting and management of monthly economic assumptions used in all valuations iro all scenarios and bases

• Technical assistance to team member(s), TAF, UFT, Java, SoapUI, Postman, ALM QC, Xray and mobile frameworks
• Plan projects, define scope, automation effort, resources of automation for new projects. Cost and prepare quotes for the same
• Automation return on investment
• Develop cost recovery models including ROI for automation and present to clients
• Identify and implement mitigation of risks to test automation
• Continuous improvement reporting on automation to improve visibility across the projects. Daily execution, automation coverage
• Continuous improvement on ways of working (Weekly Test Automation forum)
• Develop reusable test automation framework for Java (Selenium, Appium, Rest & Soap API's, Database testing)
• Understanding current and future project requirements and prioritizing these on the development team backlog
• Training of interns
What will make you successful in this role?
1. Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
2. Experience:
• A minimum of 7 years experience in software testing within a solutions design division, whereby experience in testing the delivery of financial solutions is required
• Experience as a Test Lead or Test Team Leader will be advantageous
• Experience with testing using Automated testing tools is required
• Work experience in a DevOps or similar role preferable
• Experience working with Agile practices, principles and values
• Full understanding of testing web /mobile applications and websites and associated technologies
• Advanced experience with test automation tools and strategies
• Experience of using BDD effectively
• Proven experience in Continuous Integration/Delivery
• Proven experience coaching and training team members

3. Knowledge:
• Good working knowledge of Testing best practices, techniques, artefacts and testing frameworks

What will you do?
The Performance Test Engineer will manage multiple complex projects for performance testing initiatives. The PTE will assess the performance needs of an application and develop a performance test strategy to evaluate application/infrastructure performance, while working with scrum teams, architecture, and infrastructure teams. The PTE will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis and troubleshooting to identify root cause of performance-related issues and performance improvement opportunities, providing technical leadership, assisting the development team in identifying coding improvements, and coaching/mentoring performance test engineers and scrum teams on performance testing best practices
As our Performance Test Engineer, you must be able to communicate risks, employ appropriate risk mitigation strategies and tactics, and effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels
What will make you successful in this role?
1. Qualifications:
• BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
• ISTQB Performance Testing Certification advantageous
2. Experience:
• Experience - 3 to 5 year’s experience in an Automation and Performance Testing environment
• Ability to identify potential issues and ensure minimisation of recurring problems by managing defects and performing code reviews Application
• Layer (Java, Python, etc.) and Infrastructure (Windows, Linux, etc.)
• Requirement Gathering, Scripting, Scenario designing and Execution, Performance Analysis
• Baseline Testing, Load Testing, Stress Testing and Endurance Testing
• Monitoring Client side and server-side resources using Perfmon, HP Site scope And JVM monitoring tools
• Experience in testing and test tools advantageous
Functional knowledge of DevOps Concepts, Agile Methodologies, and DevOps tools advantageous
• Experience in optimizing system components such as CPU/Memory/Disk/OS/Application software for maximizing computer resources utilization
• Minimum 5 years SQL knowledge
• Java, Maven and Bamboo knowledge experience
• Hands on experience working with Microfocus LoadRunner, NeoLoad and Apache Jmeter tools
• Experience in Application, DB and Services performance testing
3. Knowledge:

• Ensure a positive user experience for our customers by performing load and performance testing across multiple products to verify that c our applications meet industry standards for reliability and response time

Provide regular status updates about the test tool environment to Sanlam stakeholder(s)
