    IT Junior Finance Developer

    Job Description    

    • We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior PL/SQL Developer to join our team. As a member of the Finance Development team, the ideal candidate will assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL code for Oracle R12 extensions and peripheral database applications. This role involves working closely with senior developers and businesses gathering and defining requirements, developing and implementing automated solutions. 

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Assist with business requirements gathering
    • Assist with technical solution design Participation in design and code reviews
    • Develop and unit test code
    • Documentation of requirements, designs and developed solutions
    • Assist with user training initiatives
    • Technical support the of Oracle EBS applications and peripheral systems
    • Participation in developer forums

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • BSc in Information Systems or Information Systems Tech diploma
    • Minimum 2 years’ development experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS)
    • A strong understanding of relational database concepts and security-driven development
    • Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and views
    • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management systems

    Competencies    
    Essential Competencies:

    • Oracle PL/SQL on database version 9i or higher

    Advantageous Competencies:

    • Oracle database development experience that includes SQL, PL/SQL
    • Oracle APEX experience
    • Oracle Forms and Reports, XML Publisher and Workflow Builder
    • Oracle eBusiness Suite
    • Technical Development experience
    • Oracle eBusiness Suite Functional Configuration experience
    • Experience with Unix/Linux
    • Shell scripts Control-M Workload
    • Automation and Job Scheduling Development using Oracle OAF and Jdeveloper
    • Exposure to Agile/Scrum project methodology
    • AI experience
    • Appropriate Oracle courses or certifications

    Debt Collector - Pretoria

    Job Description

    • Our Debt Collection Department requires people with a real passion for retail and commitment to a high level of customer service, to work as a Debt Collector.

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Advises customer of total due amount (arrears instalment due).
    • Asks for immediate payment/confirm PTP.
    • Confirms when next payment will be.
    • Confirms salary date and ensure correlations between salary date, PTP date and date last paid.
    • Advises customer of the relevant consequences of non-payment or benefits of making payment.
    • Negotiate for total due/Multiple PTPs.
    • Offers the option to pay via credit card and explain benefits of paying via credit card.
    • Offer a debit order and explain benefits of a debit order payment.
    • All info updated correctly and correct action codes used.

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • Matric or equivalent qualification
