    Account Manager

    About the role

    • As a mid-level Account Manager at Yoco, you’ll manage a portfolio of pre-selected merchants from our top-performing segment. These merchants require a balance of strategic guidance, commercial enablement, and responsive support. You’ll serve as their trusted advisor, helping them achieve growth, ensure satisfaction, and unlock long-term value through our ecosystem.

    What you will be doing

    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with assigned merchants
    • Develop a deep understanding of each merchant’s business model, challenges, and growth levers
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive business outcomes
    • Proactively identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities
    • Present and negotiate proposals and contracts to maximise merchant lifetime value
    • Monitor portfolio performance, merchant engagement, and product adoption
    • Resolve merchant issues efficiently and escalate when necessary
    • Maintain data accuracy and CRM hygiene to support transparency and insights
    • Contribute to the refinement of internal processes, playbooks, and team-wide rituals

    About you

    • 2 - 4 years of B2B account management experience
    • Demonstrated ability to manage commercial relationships and drive customer retention and growth
    • Account Management experience in the fintech, payments and/or POS advantageous
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret account data and optimise performance
    • Proficiency in CRM tools, with a disciplined and organised work style
    • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and impact-driven environment

    Senior Product Manager: Product Growth

    About the role

    • We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager Growth to build and lead Yoco’s Product Growth- a cross-functional team focused on creating fast, meaningful value across and the customer lifecycle.
    • This is a strategic product role that combines systems thinking, journey design, experimentation, and purpose. You’ll create the product growth principles that support discovery journeys, activation, and product attachment that power deep attachment to our ecosystem.
    • You’ll work across the website, signup flow, activation, and retention stages, partnering closely with design, engineering, product marketing, CVM, and strategy. You’ll also help pioneer new product growth operating models - from Shape Up cycles to AI-assisted personalisation.

    What you will be doing

    • Create and lead the Product Growth Team – shaping vision, roadmap, and outcomes within product journeys, driving growth through in-product experiences across key moments like signup, activation, and retention.
    • Collaborate with your product peers and lead with product led growth principles to improve journeys, quantitative customer insights, triggers, time-to-value, reduce drop-off, and increase meaningful and personalised attachment.
    • Work closely with Go to Market, Customer Value Management, Customer Operations, Data, Risk and Compliance Collaborate with Customer Value Management, Customer Operations, and Data to align in-product growth initiatives with out-of-product engagement and communications. Partner with Account Management, Merchant Success, and Support to share insights, test impact, and ensure in-product experiences complement human touchpoints across the customer journey.
    • Define and launch micro-products that act as onramps into larger product value – simple, habit-forming tools that lead to deeper engagement.
    • Contextual and personalisation create context-aware lifecycle interventions and personalised nudges using AI and behavioural triggers.
    • Champion new ways of working – including Shape Up cycles, lean squads, and AI-assisted tooling to drive agility and focus.
    • Make the mission tangible – tying product growth directly to Yoco’s broader strategy of creating a new category for small business enablement.
    • Drive and cooperate with stakeholders to define problems, scope work, and deliver measurable outcomes – not just tickets.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Clear uplift in merchant acquisition and attachment to strategic products and features.
    • Reduced merchant friction and improved product and merchant activation rates across key customer segments.
    • Close partnership with Customer Value Management ( CVM) to deliver intelligent, personalised lifecycle enhancements.
    • Product growth recognised as a key driver of ecosystem engagement and category creation.

    About you

    • 7+ years in product, growth, or innovation roles – ideally with a mix of startup and platform experience.
    • Proven track record of owning growth metrics and running high-impact experiments across product journeys.
    • Strong analytical background, preferably hands on mixpanel, datastudio, metabase or SQL experience.
    • Deep experience in design thinking, experimentation and experience design. Either as an individual contributor or as part of team partnership.
    • Strong product intuition, backed by sharp analytical thinking and a comfort with ambiguity.
    • An entrepreneurial mindset – you’re proactive, resilient, and able to work across functions without waiting for permission.
    • Interest in AI-driven product personalisation and bespoke automation at scale.
    • Experience or appetite for exploring new methods of working (e.g. Shape Up, lean cycles, experimental pods).
