    HR Intern

    About the Role

    • We are looking for a motivated and eager HR Intern to join our Human Resources team for a 24-month internship. This role is ideal for a recent HR graduate who wants practical experience across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, skills development, labour relations exposure and Employment Equity support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with recruitment administration, interview scheduling and reference checks
    • Support onboarding, induction preparation and maintaining employee files
    • Update HR registers, trackers and training records
    • Assist with Skills Development and merSETA evidence collection
    • Support EE Committee administration and data updates
    • Prepare documentation for HR processes and compliance
    • Assist with payroll input verification and employee query logging
    • Provide general HR administrative support to the team

    Minimum Requirements

    • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
    • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Good communication and organisational skills

    Communication Coordinator - P1

    • We are seeking a Communications Co-ordinator who will be responsible to facilitate the flow of information by developing and implementing sound communication strategies, campaigns and event management planning. This role reports to the Employee Experience Manager within the People Operations function.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Internal Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a communication strategy aligned with company goals, industry trends, and legal requirements.
    • Employee Communication: Create and manage a communications calendar, draft organizational announcements, newsletters, and employee stories including communication plans for change management projects. Ensure high-quality, brand-compliant messaging across channels and social media.
    • Event Management: Plan and execute internal events, including project management, budgeting and hosting.
    • Intranet Management: Maintain and update content, ensuring relevance and engagement.
    • Internal Branding: Design and proof internal branding materials; support career events.
    • Digital Management: Collaborate on global brand campaigns, monitor online platforms, and leverage social media for employee engagement.
    • Reporting & Measurement: Track communication effectiveness, event success, and budget adherence; present reports and improvement plans.
    • Stakeholder Management: Develop engagement strategies, manage risks, and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

    Your Profile:

    • Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification
    • Bachelors Degree in Communication Science/Studies or related degree
    • 3 years Business experience (with business-to-business corporate communication including preparing content for a business community).
    • Skilled user of Microsoft Office including MT Teams, SharePoint and Adobe Creative suite, specifically photoshop and InDesign.
    • Experience of developing corporate/organizational or educational communications / public relations materials and copywriting/editing, promotional writing.
    • Experience in managing of corporate events.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work across multiple social media platforms.
    • Strong understanding of integration of new media and traditional communication channels.
    • Ability to assimilate, analyze and present data.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to copy write in English successfully, multi-task and work in a team.
    • High level of attention to detail, project management, time management & organizational skills.
