• iqbusiness is looking for highly skilled Data Analysts. The ideal Data Analyst is a proactive problem-solver who thrives on interpreting complex data, uncovering trends, and driving continuous improvement in data quality and business outcomes.
• This person collaborates closely with both technical and business stakeholders to define data requirements, map data flows, and ensure robust documentation and quality assurance. They are detail-oriented, skilled in creating scalable and reliable data solutions, and committed to upholding data governance and compliance. Adaptable and analytical, they confidently process live and confidential data, anticipate the impact of system changes, and champion best practices to support informed, data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Output Areas Include: 

• Interpret data, analyze results and interpret trends enabling continuous improvement in data quality and overall business performance
• Create detailed specifications that specify data sources, data flows, data transformations, data storage and reporting
• Produce documentation such as source-to-target-maps, data dictionaries and data models
• Create test cases and scenarios used to ensure quality assurance
• Interact and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify data sources, find data definitions for master and metadata as well as formulate and implement solutions
• Promote the use of existing enterprise and divisional data standards to enhance data quality, ensure constant compliance and adherence to data governance principles
• Promote reusability, maintainability, reliability, and scalability in design and development of data solutions
• Process live and confidential data according to specified guidelines
• Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems that could impact reporting and eventually business decisions

Requirements:

• 4 – 8 years of experience in analyzing and using data to solve problems
• Relevant Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma / recognised qualification from an accredited tertiary institution preferably ICT 
• Knowledge and/or experience in Data frameworks, practices and tooling (e.g. DAMA, Apache, etc)
• Demonstrates knowledge of database and data warehouse design
• Proven experience building logical and physical data models using industry best practices, patterns and frameworks
• Practical technical experience using database management tools(SQL) and reporting tools(Power BI)
• Familiarity with BI methodologies such as Kimball and Inman
• Has analytical skills and demonstrates a deep interest in research
• Demonstrates the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to draw actionable insights from raw data and information to help further the business’s cause
• Ability to communicate well with different types of stakeholders, adapt to different project environments and play a flexible role in projects
• Have a drivers' license and a willingness to travel

Job Description

• iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking a motivated and skilled Full Stack Software Developer with AI expertise to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end applications while integrating AI/ML solutions into scalable products. Must have backend experience with Python (Django and Fast API) and Frontend with React / Vue JS.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2 years' experience with React / Vue JS.
• 2 years’ experience with software development (e.g. Python, Java, Go).
• Experience with agile methodologies and techniques used in software development.
• Designing and building cloud-native architectures, including public cloud PaaS / IaaS, micro-services architectures, and APIs
• Competent in Docker and container technologies
• Experience with Git, Linux (bash), and at least 1 cloud provide

Responsibilities

• Understand and identify the clients’ needs and pain points.
• Design and analyse functional and non-functional requirements for the application aligning to the clients’ needs.
• Design, develop and maintain application software, relational databases, system APIs, system integrations, and web user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines of the systems.
• Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects.
• Strong communications skills and comfortable presenting your own thoughts to technical and business stakeholders.
• Document designed solutions and implemented tools.
