Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Assistant Accountant II at their Essential Foods, Bloemfontein Bakery. The successful candidate will assist with some financial procedures within a unit including the preparation of accounts, financial planning and budgeting, reporting of budget variances, cost control and cost analysis programmes. Normally reports to Unit HOD.

SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

• Assisted financial analysis and planning.
• Performed accounting procedures.
• Managed working capital and assisted compilation of annual ops & capital budgets.
• Verified monthly ledger accounts and compiled monthly reports.
• Maintained unit financial procedures.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

4 - 5 years financial accounting experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

National Certificate/Diploma in Finance.

Job description

Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Millwright at their Essential Foods, Olifantsfontein Bakery. The successful candidate will be a qualified artisan with a Millwright trade certificate. Normally reports to Unit Supervisor.

SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

• Dismantled, fitted & assembled machinery and parts.
• Executed pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs.
• Performed planned maintenance on machinery & equipment.
• Fitted, inspected, tested and repaired MCC, circuits & wiring systems and electrical equipment.
• Used, installed and applied fault finding on programmable logical control circuits (PLC's).
• Installed and commissioned machinery and equipment.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

5 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant Technical Trade and N3 qualification.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Shift work.
• Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations.
• Sound understanding and application of preventative maintenance principles/practices.
• Maintenance budgeting.
