    Project Manager II - Klerksdorp

    Description

    Monitoring Sites:

    • Ensure documenting, reporting, supervision and supporting of Staff assigned to the project site
    • Coordinate/Participate all other stakeholders providing HIV/AIDS, TB care within the sub-district
    • Efficient functioning of sites
    • Optimise and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency

    Project Management

    • Develop program management tools and systems to ensure effective and efficient running of the program.
    • Programme evaluation to determine impact of changes made
    • Projects delivered to Workplan
    • Evaluate performance using Key Metrics and address issues to improve it
    • Identifying potential problems or challenges within a project and ensure corrective action
    • Compile Quality Area and priority programs reports
    • Liaison with External and Internal Stakeholders towards achievement of operational
    • Maintain positive relations and open communications with relevant internal and external stakeholders
    • Report progress to Stakeholders (funders, collaborators, clients) on a regular basis
    • Report to Senior Executives on progress and issues

    Requirements

    Education / Professional Membership

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical healthcare environment with at least 2 years’ senior management experience

    Description

    The purpose of this position is to provide highly experienced and efficient clinical services under the supervision of the Professional Nurse whilst adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive, safe and effective evidence based clinical procedures to achieve identified health outcomes
    • Manage daily activities required for the implementation of the research study
    • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the South African Nursing Council and the Health Professions Council of South Africa

    Data Capturer - Klerksdorp

    Description

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Generate study files and required study documentation
    • Record all paper forms received
    • Reviews paper forms for completeness, accuracy and consistency
    • Capturing the data accurately from paper forms into a project specific database according to Aurum specific guidelines
    • Verifies data from paper forms with data already captured on the electronic database
    • Supports the data management team in all data management functions
    • Adheres to all data management SOP’s, guidelines and confidentiality agreements
    • Completes daily time sheets
    • Implements a filing system for study-related case report forms and other documentation

    Research Doctor - Parktown

    Description

    Project Leadership:

    • Take a leadership role in research projects, overseeing the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A valid registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
    • Experience in clinical/implementation research.
    • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
    • Training in epidemiology and biostatistics
    • Project management experience
    • Demonstrated ability to write scientific papers.
    • Willingness to travel 40% time.
    • SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Own car
    • Willing to work overtime.
    • The successful candidate will be required to work for certain days and hours.
