    Marketing Intern (Starting June 2026, for current students graduating in 2027)

    Job Description

    • Marketing is the steward of the brand. The team focuses on driving awareness, preference and conversion across B2B and B2C. They build the brand, with a client centric approach, by reinforcing emotional affinity via innovation and tangible proof points. This is an opportunity to use your creativity, express ideas, and make a real contribution to the organization and its mission.

    Here are some cool things our Marketing Interns work on:

    • Experience in project management, briefing and commissioning Visa’s external agencies and managing relationships with media.
    • Involvement in the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated campaigns targeting multiple audiences, such as launch events and partnership activities.
    • Measuring and celebrating our social impact by collecting data, compiling case studies and producing reports.
    • Promoting VISA and its services using a broad range of channels including social media, PR, Events and Public Affairs.
    • Identify actionable consumer insights, through the analysis of consumer transactional data and social media behavior.
    • Creating and maintaining content.

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

    Qualifications

    • In a nutshell: Looking for a creative, social-media obsessed intern who is full of ideas and loves to create engaging content.
    • Preferred Majors: Media & Communications, Marketing & Advertising, Visual Communication (Design / Video), Journalism / Media Studies, Film / Media Production

    Requirements:

    • Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in with a graduation date in December 2026 (Finishing coursework by dec 2026)
    • Be available to pursue a 3-month internship (June 2026 to August 2026)
    • Must be available to join a full-time role by January 2027
    • Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
    • Basic capabilities with photo / video editing tools (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, etc.)
    • Basic capabilities with content production via iPhone or Camera (Photography, Videography)
    • Familiarity with trending formats on social media platforms (Reels, short-form video, memes, carousels, Live)
    • Interest in creative storytelling and visual identity
    • Research skills to track cultural/market trends
    • Strong written & verbal communication in English and local language

    Vice President, Visa Commercial Solutions, Southern East Africa

    Job Description

    Team Summary

    • The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a global, world-class commercial organization within Visa, aligned with the broader Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) strategy. VCS plays a pivotal role in modernizing B2B payment flows and expanding commercial card usage across small businesses (SMBs), middle-market organizations, large enterprises, and government segments.

    What a VP, VCS, SEA does at Visa:

    • Establishment and execution of near and long-term strategies that accelerate Visa Commercial Solution’s (VCS) business across in SEA sub region, covering the Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), Large & Middle Market (LMM) and Government segments.
    • Drive all of Visa’s commercial card (“Card-able”) business results and expansion within the sub region, including the establishment of regional strategies and priorities, sales relationships, new business development and product delivery.  
    • Carry P&L responsibility for VCS in SEA– manage financial forecasts and short and long term financial operating plans to maximize growth, meet quarterly and annual financial targets, and, ensure that resources are dedicated to the most appropriate business initiatives.
    • Drive thought leadership and development with issuers, acquirers, technology partners and emerging alternative providers.
    • Develop and lead a high caliber team of sales specialists, set smart targets and OKRs and offer regular oversight feedback and assessment.   
    • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders like Marketing, Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA), Visa Government Solutions (VGS), Merchant Sales Acquiring (MSA), Country teams (Account Executives), Customer Service (CS) and Finance teams etc. to drive VCS business.
    • Work in close partnership with global VCS teams to deliver globally consistent and regionally relevant solutions to clients.
    • Partner with stakeholders within and outside VCS on major initiatives and opportunities, leveraging customer interactions to identify new and enhanced products and services.
    • Add value to customers by focusing on the product needs and gaps, new use cases, offering consultative feedback based on our current and envisioned solutions

    Qualifications

    What you will need:

    • Leadership experience in Commercial Cards and/or Corporate Banking / Cash Management.
    • Minimum 20 years of experience in top-tier financial institutions, payment networks, or financial services firms.
    • Deep understanding of current B2B payment trends, regulatory environment, and market gaps.
    • Strong experience working directly with and influencing clients (FIs, Fintechs, Corporates).
    • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
    • Good knowledge of product management and development, data-driven insights, and finance.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
    • Teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; ability to lead by influence and example.
    • Successful track record of stakeholder management and ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
    • A passion and energy for people leadership  and development with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
    • Preferably a Master of Business degree.
