RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely load, unload, and move goods, pallets, and materials from storage areas, trucks, or containers.
• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) and other machinery to move, stack, and unstack large quantities of goods.
• Strictly follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear, reporting incidents, and ensuring loads are stable.
• Perform daily inspections of the forklift (fueling, cleaning, repairing) and report any damages or faults to management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid forklift operating certificate/license is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, often for long hours.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination to maneuver machinery in tight spaces.
• Precision in scanning, picking, and stacking to ensure accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distributing and Collecting of client’s cargo
• Assisting with loading and offloading of cargo from the vehicle
• Collecting of daily delivery sheets
• Completing of daily delivery sheets
• Collecting of daily collection sheets
• Completing of daily collection sheets
• Daily pre trip inspection of vehicle
• Vehicle fault reporting – as an when required
• Ensuring care is taken when client’s cargo is being loaded and off loaded from vehicle
• Ensuring that the addresses given for deliveries / collections is correct
• Ensuring that contact is kept with depot at all times
• Ensuring that no deviations from delivery / collection sheets takes place without authorization

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
• 1-2 years driving experience would be preferable but not a prerequisite
• A valid unendorsed driver’s license
• A good geographical knowledge of the area of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure
• A good command of the English language both verbally and written
• Ability to communicate both internally and externally
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work overtime as and when required due to clients requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loading and off-loading goods from vehicle at depot
• Off-loading goods from vehicle at client’s premises
• Stacking of goods from vehicle into designated area
• Ensuring that the goods are loaded correctly and secure on the vehicle at all times
• General housekeeping – as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (Matric) minimum
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
• Ability to work overtime as and when required due to client’s needs and requirements of the company
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work unsociable hours
• Excellent listening skills
• Reliable & presentable at all times
• A high degree of integrity required
