Requirements

• Matric
• Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2-3 years’ post qualification experience
• Previous experience in the Surgical Unit compulsory

Description

• Manage minimum and maximum stock levels
• Manage the stock adjustments and cyclical counts
• Order surgical stock on ordering system according to usage and budgets
• Liaise with external and internal service providers with regards to stock
• Manage stock codes on the system in collaboration with Melopharm CC
• Coordinate consignment stock for the Theatre
• Manage the invoices and billings for consignment stock used
• Assist management with monthly reports on stock holdings

Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics/ Mathematics Literacy
• 3 to 5 years surgical goods procurement experience
• Previous hospital experience is a necessity
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Accurate, numerate, methodical and attention to detail
• Report writing, analysis and submission experience
• Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required
