    Brand &Communciations Com Strategy RSA

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with Strategy Developers to execute customer (farmer and channel) focused marketing campaigns linked to GTM strategies to achieve annual business targets.
    • Core responsibilities in development and implementation of marketing campaigns will include:
    • Develop core messaging for products, USP and value proposition aligned to MD, GTM Leads and Strategy Developers
    • Identify new and innovative (disruptive) ways and concepts to increase brand awareness, product usage and market sharewhile tracking the effectiveness of campaign /communication and implement action based learning
    • Leverage digital solutions and platforms to optimize campaign effectiveness and messaging 
    • Plan and support the execution of promotional and trade events like (Nampo, GrainSA congress CRI etc)
    • Build collaborative working relationships with key internal and external partners (suppliers and agencies) for South Africa to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply and service delivery of marketing material and services in line with guidelines and strategy.
    • Coordinate the implementation of comprehensive marketing launch plans for new product launches in South Africa (Knowledge transfer, Launch ppt, Messaging, campaigns, Launch Events etc).
    • Implement a process to track key competitors’ marketing and campaign approaches and activities (Competitor analysis on marketing campaigns). 
    • Collaborate with business intelligence and customer insight team to develop in depth market and customer understanding to ensure marketing campaigns are customer focused. 
    • Ensure and support the effective role out of product brand guidelines in marketing and campaign material as well as labelling and packaging across South Africa.
    • Work with the Strategy Developers and strategy team to ensure effective resource allocation in terms of communication, demand generation and promotional activities in line with growth potential and strategy.
    • Optimize approved budget, ensure efficient spend on external resources, services, tools and media. Manage and track monthly the annual advertising, promotional and demand generation budget for South Africa.

    Qualifications and Competenicies 

    • Tertiary qualifications in Agronomy, Marketing, Business or related fields.
    • Minimum 3 years sales, marketing and/or agronomic experience.
    • Experience in working with marketing campaigns, preferably digitally based.
    • Agricultural background, experience in the seed, crop protection and/or biotechnology industry is preferred.
    • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel / Power Point / Word) a prerequisite. Specific experience with MS Excel necessary.
    • Highly motivated, creative, dynamic and well organized. 
    • Good business and strategic acumen required.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English, oral and written, is required.
    • Customer and market oriented. 
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with associated deadlines for deliverable results.
    • Proven ability to influence effectively in a matrix organization and works well in teams.

    Key responsibilities and tasks

    • Build and maintain relationship with Farmers and understand Customer needs.
    • Responsible for large-scale demonstrations in partnership with sales to identify the value of programs and ensure it is aligned to the overall strategy

    Experience, Skills and Qualifications

    • MSc degree in Ag/Life Sciences or related discipline or bachelor’s degree in agriculture/marketing/business administration
    • Superior understanding of crop production which includes relevant crops for the region.
    • Excellent working knowledge of Crop Protection Industry, Seed Business and Digital platforms 
    • Excellent relationship and team skills
    • Understanding of implications of actions on the achievement of BCS short term and long-termobjectives. 
    • Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skill set

    Customer Service Representatives -SAC

    Key responsibilities and tasks

    • Interact with customers (directly and via sales team members). 
    • Orchestrate the service relationship, acting as primary contact for assigned customer accounts 
    • Seek customer feedback to track satisfaction level and identify solutions to improve experience 
    • Receive, address & resolve any immediately addressable customer requests from customers and sales team members via structured communication (phone, email) e.g., order management - order entry, status check; order fulfillment – scheduling, ad-hoc – product returns.
    • Receive, document & resolve Quality & Service complaints (make records and close the cases timely etc..). 
    • Influence Order in-take and delivery timing to achieve financial targets 
    • Manage internal communication and alignment with various stakeholders like Customer facing squads, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain & Distribution and other support function teams like Finance and credit etc.
    • Provide overall business updates & reports and customer account info (e.g., availability dates, delivery scheduling, targets, progress reports) 
    • Ensure customer prioritization, delivery forecast targets and support product allocation management and reflect that in the SAP ERP System.
    • Conduct training sessions and influence customers to adopt new processes, tools, and systems 
    • Identify and implement improvements in operational efficiency, customer experience, etc. through continuous improvements with system automation, system & process improvements and/or enhancements.
    • Price Master Data management: Price confirmation on SAP with the Commercial Agreements team. 
    • Ensuring prices & discounts applied are compliant with the defined Price lists, payments terms & defined Market Funding Programs.
    • Customer Master Data Management: Receive requests from commercial team, validate, document and submit to Master Data Teams for proper accounts creation & maintenance.
    • Creation of new accounts on Salesforce and ensure maintenance of correct customer information in the system. 
    • Data analysis to generate weekly & Monthly report outs for squads to internal stakeholders – Commercial, Production, Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing & Quality departments on performance tracking, order status, open order and supply risks.
    • Audit & compliance: Adherence to Global Guidelines and local policies to mitigate risks, Preparation & resolutions. Checks & balance between CS, Fin & CA (Pricing, customers, products)

    • Key competencies: customer focus, strategic mindset, results orientation, collaboration, agility, conflict management, decision making, strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, relationship management skills
    • Knowledge of IT systems and tools, e.g. SAP ERP, Sales Force, EDI preferred
    • Preferred proficiency in English language; Portuguese speaking will be an added advantage.

    Key Accounts Manager Diagnostics

    Key Tasks:

    • Selling the Bayer Pharmaceutical product range, in the Western, Eastern Cape as well as Namibia to defined customers (Radiologists, Radiographers, Pharmacists and other HCPs)
    • Meeting (and exceeding) sales targets for the specified product portfolio
    • Planning and managing the national territory using available Bayer systems, which includes daily administrative duties (logging calls, corporate compliant workflow involving functions and events, expense claims, keeping record of promotional spend, etc.) which are clearly explained in the Bayer Sales Force Effectiveness documentation
