    Quality Systems Coordinator

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Ensure compliance with the food safety and quality systems in the assigned area of responsibility. They facilitate continuous improvement, manage documentation , train staff, and analyse KPIs to detect non-conformances and drive corrective actions.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Quality Assurance Certificate/Diploma.
    • 2-4 years’ experience.
    • Proven experience as a Quality Systems, preferably in poultry processing.
    • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
    • Detail and accuracy orientated.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Maintain the Quality Control Program.
    • Maintain a high level of hygiene throughout the processing plant.
    • Report workers not adhering to the required standard.
    • Follow-up of corrective actions.
    • Carry out instructions given by Management regarding quality and hygiene.
    • Ensure compliance to the quality and food safety systems guideline.
    • Conduct plant visits according to guidelines.
    • Documentation audits – Correlation between system and practical real time.
    • Verification of procedures, work instructions and records in the plant.
    • Assist in and co-ordinate external audits.
    • Comping relevant statistical reports when required.
    • Recording, printing and trending of all customer complaints
    • Trending of all corrective actions
    • Trending of KFC KPI’s daily
    • Conduct daily inspections of both plants.
    • Conduct internal audits.
    • Conduct weekly plant inspections, and product presentations, compile and email reports.
    • Conduct KFC calibrations – twice a year.
    • Internal audits – Issue, trend, schedule and conduct corrective action.
    • Daily, weekly and monthly reports.

    Senior Factory Shop Supervisor

    Job Advert Summary    

    • To oversee daily operations within the factory shop, efficient management of stock, delivery of exceptional customer service and strict adherence to food safety standards. Management of factory shop personnel and ensuring that all processes comply with the company policies and procedures. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Diploma or equivalent (Retail Management)
    • 3-5 years’ experience in retail/food manufacturing environment or similar role in FMCG industry.
    • Computer skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
    • Proficient in pallet jacking and bulk box handling.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedure.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • General supervision of the Factory Shop personnel.
    • Provide training and guidance to personnel on customer service and operational procedures.
    • Foster a positive and positive work environment.
    • Ensure that inventory levels are maintained, and the stock is properly displayed
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Address customer inquiries complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
    • Oversee the sales operations and ensure accurate processing of transactions.
    • Coordinate with other department to ensure seamless operations. 
    • Responsible to order stock from dispatch
    • Ensure compliance with stock control procedures on all products inside the Factory Shop.
    • Ensure compliance with loading and offloading procedures.
    • Check the physical stock sold or delivered.
    • Ensure that the temperature control is maintained on Freezers.
    • Ensure avoidance of broken pallets usage inside the Freezers. 
    • Ensure compliance with SOP (Standard operating procedure) relating to daily operations
    • General organisation of operations regarding stock handling.
    • Ensure the admin systems are updated with on completion of every transaction:
    • Knowledge on how to operate the point of sales application system
    • Completion of manual checklists
    • Balance daily sales to tills and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Report any deviations daily.
    • Always Maintain the Supreme Poultry Code of Conduct and ensure that the appropriate action is initiated when breaches occur.
    • Ensure good housekeeping in and around the Factory Shop is always maintained according to the standard.
    • Ensure Health & Safety rules and regulations are complied with in working area at all times
    • Time management
    • Ensure that food safety and quality standards and practices are maintained.
