    Commercial and Operations Lead

    • We’re seeking an ambitious and strongly commercially minded Commercial and Operations Lead interested in joining a super-fast-growing supplier of food products in the Malmesbury Region, Western Cape.

    • This opportunity is based in the countryside of the Western Cape and is ideal for someone looking to relocate from the city to a quieter, more serene lifestyle. It is also a Senior Leadership role within the organisation, and reports directly to the CEO and CFO.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Senior FP&A Manager

    • A rapidly scaling international tech company is currently seeking a remote Senior FP&A Manager to join their team.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and Excel skills. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing financial models that support strategic planning, investment analysis, and business growth - reporting directly to the Head of FP&A.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and refine financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
    • Analyse budget performance, explain variances, and identify risks and opportunities.
    • Review financial data, models, and reports to provide clear insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with Regional Financial Officers to ensure accurate and achievable budgets and forecasts.
    • Create dashboards and visualisations to present complex financial data effectively.
    • Clean and process data using Power Pivot, Power Query, and modelling tools.
    • Streamline processes through automation, data cleaning, and financial adjustment.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Qualified CA (SA) or CGMA
    • 4+ years' experience in financial planning, modelling, or valuations
    • Advanced MS Excel skills with strong 3-Statement model building experience
    • ​Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.

    FP&A Analyst

    • A small, but rapidly scaling, US accounting and advisory firm is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join their global finance team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in financial, planning and  analysis (“FPA”), looking to take the next step towards a more senior, strategic financial role.
    • You will be responsible in supporting the firm’s clients with financial analysis and modelling, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow forecasting, and ad hoc projects as they may arise, and you will work directly with the founder and CEO.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning
    • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis
    • Perform monthly financial analysis, including budget-to-actuals and variance reporting
    • Assist with cash flow forecasting and performance tracking
    • Prepare monthly and periodic management accounts
    • Assist with financial dashboards and analytics tools 

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Must have a degree in Accounting or Finance 
    • En route to CFA, CGMA or CA(SA) is strongly preferred
    • 1-3 years' experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or financial reporting
    • Advanced Excel skills (must have)
    • Experience in smaller accounting practices/firms is preferred
    • Experience in FathomHQ and Quickbooks is advantageous
    • Must be willing to work US hours (EST)

    Senior Finance Assistant

    • Our client is an established, growing UK-based digital consultancy that has recently expanded its footprint into South Africa, with a new office based in Century City, Cape Town. The company specialises in digital creation and design and supports well-known UK and South African brands.
    • As the South African team grows, the business is looking for a Finance Assistant who can support the finance operations locally and internationally. 
    • The ideal candidate will be highly organised, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and confident in managing multiple financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, expense processing, and month-end support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs.
    • Issue accurate monthly client invoices and assist with credit control.
    • Maintain and reconcile cashbooks and banking transactions.
    • Allocate receipts and payments accurately to the General Ledger.
    • Manage staff expenses and ensure adherence to policy.
    • Support the month-end close, including GL reconciliations, accruals, and schedules.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • ICB Bookkeeping qualification, Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or similar
    • 5-8 experience as a Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar.
    • Strong working knowledge of cashbooks, AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and ledger posting.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas required).
    • Experience using Xero is advantageous but not essential.
    • Clear communicator with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
