Job Purpose
- We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and deliver measurable business value.
- The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and the BI Team to understand business challenges, define requirements, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights. They will translate business requirements into analytical specifications and business rules that enable the development of trusted data and analytical solutions.
- You should demonstrate a high competency in problem solving capabilities. We are looking for an individual with experience in using a variety of data tools, descriptive and advanced analytics techniques as well as data visualization to turn data into actionable insights with demonstrable business impact.

Data Preparation
- Acquire data from various data sources, combine and transform data into interpretable datasets, reports or dashboards

Stakeholder Engagement
- Work directly with management and other business users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
Present information using data visualisation techniques.
- Lead facilitation requirements gathering workshops with the business, and assist in expanding, defining and understanding requirements.
- Lead and contribute to collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to analyse information needs, functional requirements and business processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant tertiary Qualification
- 5+ years of experience performing data analysis with proven functional experience in analytics, data visualisation and/or reporting.
- Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI and SAP Web Intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to query, analyse, interpret, and present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Experience working with diverse data sources and platforms, including Snowflake, SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, JSON, and file-based data sources.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience working with large and complex datasets.
