YOUR ROLE:

• Ensure the safety and quality assurance within the warehouse

• MAXIMO / Baan / SAP administration

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warehouse / Materials Management Diploma
• 5 years experience in railway preferably Rolling stock and Wayside materials and components
• Advanced computer literacy (Maximo, SAP & Baan)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Knowledge of stores/store keeping processes and procedures
• Knowledge of inventory/materials management
• Quality Management

• Assist with Preventative Maintenance
• Assist with Corrective Maintenance when required
• Basic MAXIMO administration
• Correct use of Materials, tools and equipment
• Effective team-work and self-management
• Could work shifts which include weekends, night work, overtime and public holidays.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12.
• S4 or N6 National Certificate excluding P1 & P2
• Rail/ Production experience will be an advantage.
• Fit and robust.
• South African citizen
• Ability to see in colour
• Ability to work at heights
• Good hearing (exposure to noise)

Purpose:

• Finish Coil insulations according to technological & quality requirements.

Organizational Reporting:

• Reporting to the EPU Manager

Responsibilities:

• Comply with company regulations in attendance, EHS and PPE wearing
• Accomplish production task according to industrial requirements
• Good undrstanding of the work instruction and drawing involved in each step in coil  insulation process; Operate independently the related equipment for coil insulation work
• Check the equipment in daily work and report to maintenance timely on malfunctions
• Take over raw material from warehouse, share feedback with team leaders timely 
• Conduct self-inspection, inspection each other; make sure the products meet quality requirements                                        

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years’ working experience in coil insulations
• Proven previous and relevant working experience within the motors manufacturing process
• Good understanding the fundamentals of Instrumentation and measurement.
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills (both Written and Verbal) (English)
