    HR Administrator (Temporary) - Cape Town

    Purpose of the position:

    • The purpose of this position is to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the line managers and Human Resources (HR) team to ensure accurate and complete record-keeping for all employees.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • One-year diploma in Human Resources Management
    • VIP Payroll, Sage People or any other HR Systems 
    • Experience working on ATS (Applicant Tracking System) would be an advantage
    • At least 3 years’ experience working in an HR/Recruitment environment
    • Proven experience MS Office
    • Knowledge of legislations, PAYE, UIF, filing and admin
    • Proficiency in English, Afrikaans / IsiXhosa language

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Prepare necessary documentation on request for HR audits
    • Process new & terminating employee information accurately
    • Perform verification checks on new employees prior to employment
    • Load job advert on recruitment system and post to various job portals
    • Scheduling candidate interviews
    • Providing administrative support to the Recruitment department
    • Ensure the effective tracking of the candidate lifecycle through the identified recruitment management system
    • Capturing of data on the e-HR system as required
    • Ensure efficient management of the VIP leave module (ESS)
    • Provide Divisions with regular leave reports
    • Ensure all documentation relating to the termination of service are completed
    • Obtain relevant documentation and forms from new employees
    • Ensure new records are opened timeously and that all required documentation are contained in the files
    • Carry out general administrative duties relating to Performance Management, Employee Relations

    Peer Educator_Cape Town

    To conduct out-reach activities in the PWID community by providing current accurate health information, mobilisation of PWID’s to access health services, and linkage to care services.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 10 
    • Peer educators should be ex or current people who have used or injected drugs as they are a ‘peer’ and have therefore experienced the context, and challenges faced by PWID/PWUD
    • Minimum 1 years’ work experience in the PWID Community or experience as a peer educator
    • Able to read and write legibly in English
    • Proficiency in isiXhosa,Afrikaans/ English and any South African language
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Distribution of harm reduction packs and safer sex commodities
    • Safely collecting used injecting equipment in sharps bins from outreach areas and communities
    • Provide accurate health information to PWID/PWUD on harm reduction and safe injecting practices, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, TB, SRH and human rights
    • Link and or refer PWID/PWUD living with HIV or TB for treatment to the mobile nurse/ drop in centre or nearest health facility
    • Ensure HIV negative PWID/PWUD are regularly tested and are encouraged to uptake PrEP as HIV prevention method.
    • Promote psychological support, referral to social services and follow-up
    • Recruit PWID/PWUD for Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) and complete eligibility criteria
    • Identify women who inject drugs and provide dignity packs
