    Lecturer: Cloud Development (Part-Time)

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    ​Ideal:

    •  Honours in Information Systems/ Computer Science

    Alternatively:

    •  Honours degree in similarly related fields with programming or a similarly related field to the third year level.
    • Programming Languages:  Java, C#, Azure

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • ​​Previous lecturing experience will be advantageous.

    Working Conditions:

    • Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
    • Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
    • CVs should be a maximum of two pages.
    • On your covering page, please specify your availability to lecture, as well as the subject areas in which you are qualified to lecture.
    • Provide a motivational letter as well as certified copies of your transcript(s), qualifications, and ID.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    Ideal:

    • Bachelor of Arts Honours/ Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree in Criminology.

    Alternatively:

    • Postgraduate Diploma, MA/ MPhil, PhD/ DPhil qualification in Criminology.
    • NQF 8 qualification in social development, policy, and development.

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements: 

    • ​​Lecturing experience in Criminology.
    • Work experience is not as critical for the Criminology module as it is relatively theory based, but lecturers must be able to apply the theory to a relevant work environment.

    • An Honours in Communication Science
    • An Honours, Postgraduate Diploma or above in one of the Applied Humanities fields with Communication Science in undergraduate up to third year degree level

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • Lecturing experience in Communication Studies including all the subfields such as Interpersonal, Organisational, Intercultural, Persuasive, Global and Mass Communication
    • Work experience is not as critical for the Communication Science modules as they are relatively theory based, but lecturers must be able to apply the theory to a relevant work environment

    Lecturer: Humanities And Social Sciences (Part-Time)

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    • An Honours or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF level 8 qualification) in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice
    • Masters (NQF level 9 qualification) in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice is advantageous

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • Lecturing experience preferably two years lecturing experience in the discipline of Criminology
    • Work experience ideally in one or other field related to forensic criminology, research, criminologist, forensic analyst, victim empowerment, correctional services
