    Senior Account Director - Sandton

    ABOUT THE ROLE 

    • You will provide inspiration and be a driving force for the account with the Content Studio Lead. You will be expected to gain respect and trust through your phenomenal interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and leadership to ensure projects and campaigns run smoothly and achieve their creative and commercial potential. 
    • Reporting into the Content Studio Lead, this is a fast-paced environment that is demanding, fulfilling and fun, and requires the daily coordination of internal and external stakeholders. The agency will be dependent on you to give your projects direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the very best outcome and work. 

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Day-to-day management of creative campaigns production 
    • Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level 
    • Leading end-to-end projects working with your colleagues 
    • Appreciating creativity and its interpretation and communicating this, both internally and externally. Challenging the client and pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation 
    • Writing and contributing to briefs and developing insights to assist the planning and creative process. 
    • Working with results, using Excel, and understanding the typical marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance 

    Requirements

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

    • 5-6 years Client Service experience. Currently in a Senior Account Manager or Account Director role. 
    • Strong understanding of the automotive industry 
    • Global experience would be a plus 
    • You will be flexible and adaptable, and have a demonstrable eye for detail 
    • Commercial understanding for the ‘bigger picture effect’ of creative on results and sales 
    • Ability to work on large, fast paced accounts, and be excited to work across multiple brands with multiple project deliveries 
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
    • Collaborative, curious, innovative, adventurous, and ambitious. Personality counts, and we want to see your individuality shine through at interview stage.

    Multi-Media Art Director - Sandton

    Key Purpose:

    • Ability to interrogate the brief and strategy in order to produce world-class ideas, craft in design and results on more digitally focused platforms. This includes social campaigns, digital UX/UI based environments as well as have a basic understanding of the back-end functionality of these platforms.

    1) Creative

    • To assist their CDs in building the creative reputation of the agency.
    • To take accountability in ensuring all their creative output consistently meets the highest quality standards.
    • To assist the presentation of creative work internally and externally in a clear, professional and impactful manner.
    • To produce and craft original and great concepts and design proactively and in response to creative briefs of existing clients or potential clients.
    • Work with Strategy & Account Management to understand the clients’ brand and manage projects in a way that will support the delivery of iconic work for the brand.
    • Actively encourage and facilitate collaboration within the creative department and other departments within the agency.
    • Stay aware of current trends, popular culture, ideas, work in order to confidently stay ahead of the curve and stay relevant and contemporary.
    • Consistently develop and refine their craft in a way that demonstrates a real passion for the work they do.
    • To contribute to the shop window (local and international awards).

    2) Business Management

    • Accurate recording of work time. 
    • Actively participate in new business pitches and business development when required.
    • Responsibility to spread positive sentiment and not to add fuel any negative sentiments in a way that is destructive to agencys’ reputation both internally and externally.

    3) People/Collaboration

    • To help develop skills and knowledge within yourself that anticipate and reflect the changing needs of the agency and its’ clients through on the job development, active participation in the creative department (e.g. Disruption, training, and other company initiatives)
    • Provide feedback to your Creative Director regarding improvements that could be made to the creative department as well as play a key role in digital innovation.
    • Has actively supported and involved team members at the appropriate time to resolve issues.
    • Has encouraged all members to look for collaborative ways to make the agency a great place to work.

    Requirements

    Knowledge and Experience required:

    • 3+ years plus as a Designer in a leading creative agency/company that has generated or can generate and produce world-class ideas and design for the agency and their clients or potential clients. Efficient and versed in all the digital design platforms, including the basic adobe suite as well as Adobe XD, premiere and after effects. Knowledge of digital ecosystems is a must as well as have an understanding of the digital consumer journey.

    Skills and Educational Requirements:

    • Digital design understanding including best practice.
    • World-class design ability.
    • Presentation skills.
    • Strategically minded.
    • Creatively diverse (photography, illustration, 3D, animation, coding, motion graphics).
    • Collaborative, especially with a diverse set of creatives.
