Job Purpose: 

• The purpose of the Stock Planner is to communicate any delays efficiently to Sales in order to plan stock for production according to customer requests and deadlines.

Job Objectives and Functions:

Stock management short reservations: 

• Timeously check stock reservations on transfer orders to determine stock shortages.
• Check against YPS report to determine the category of stock shortages.
• Timeously communicate shortages to Sales according to the YPS report for both Bond and insufficient stock.
• Ensure stock from Bond is requested/ cycle counts from Inventory.
• Accurately update the Matrix according to D365 report.

Stock management short picks:

• Timeously communicate stock shortages to Sales and get feedback from Sales and update Matrix according to D365 report.
• Amend works order according to stock shortages.
• Update matrix according to D365 report.

Qualifications:

• NQF 4 - Matric / equivalent

Experience:

• 1 -2 years stock planning

Job Purpose

• The purpose of a Production Agent is to perform general duties required in the production environment and includes moving stock, unpacking and packing stock, cleaning garments, racking and off racking garments, cutting material and so on.

Job Objectives and Functions

Stock movement

• Required to move stock between different areas

Racking and off racking of garments

• Required to rack garments on the auto printing machine and off-racking it once branding is completed
• Required to place the printed garment in the tunnel and making sure it cures properly

 Unpacking and packing stock 

• Required to unpack stock and check the correctness and the quality of the product according to the job card
• Required to pack branded stock after conducting a QC check and confirming that it the branded item is an accurate reflection of the job card instructions

Cleaning Garments

• Required to clean threading and backing from embroidered garments by using small embroidery scissors

Cutting material

• Required to cut material according to templates by using the cutting machine

Housekeeping

• Maintain equipment and work areas
• Ensure that factory floor is kept clean at all times

Qualifications:

• NQF 3 - Grade 11
• NQF 4 - Matric or equivalent

Experience:

• Experience as general worker in branding industry - 6 Months to 1 year

JOB PURPOSE

• The purpose of the Planner is to forecast product needs based on sales histories and develop a product line plan that assures the profitability of a product category. 

JOB OBJECTIVES

Forecasting and budget management

• Accountable for planned revenue, forecast as well as achieving set budget by reviewing product lines and product line productivity, ensuring that there are enough items per product line to meet targets, suggesting items for last buy, identifying redundant stock as well as products for promotion.
• Responsible for Managing New Product budget, by making sure that new product presented by Buyer does not exceed budget.
• Monitor and show responsibility on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) (i.e., sales plan, gross profit, cost reductions, stock turns, and closing stock).  Assess and highlight areas of positive performance and identify areas where improvement is required, and implement appropriate action for their area of control

Management of product line per category

• Responsible for managing the current stock on record and product life cycle by conducting research, analyzing consumer trends, looking for opportunities within Barron competitors as well as working with the Buyer to develop features in existing products to suit specific target markets.

Stock Management according to sales

• Plan stock level requirements according to forecast and budgeted stock turns
• Manage clearance at appropriate times
• Assess performance weekly of SKU's and manage stock levels up and down in order to meet required sales
• Analyse and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (i.e., sales plans, cost reductions, forward covers, Chain Sales to Stock Ratio (CSS) and stockturn). Consider trends, supplier efficiency and lead times when under their area of control reviewing recommendations
