The Role

• My client that is part of the mining sector is recruiting for a Reporting Accountant. This is a global entity which has been in existence for over 100 years. The successful candidate will have experience with international group reporting.

Duties:

• Process and system implementation
• Excellent communication flow with stakeholders
• International group reporting
• Participate in projects
• Day to day finance duties

Education and Experience:

• BCom Accounting
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in the mining or construction sectors is essential
• International group reporting experience is essential
• SAP experience is preferred

Job & Company Description:

This entails dealing with the banks, lawyers, insurers, traders along with legal and statutory requirements.

• CA(SA)
• completed CIMA

• Mininimum of 3 years post article experience from retail / FMCG/ Trading industry
• Commodities trading exposure (advantageous)
• Strong staff management
• International exposure
• Africa exposure
• Strong exposure to SAP
• IT savvy
• Operational / strategic / commercial mindset
• FOREX trading exposure (advantageous)
