    Sales Representative

    UPD is looking to recruit a permanent Sales Representative required for Hospitals (Life, MediClinic and NetCare), doctors and other key customers in the Cape Town. The role will be based in Bloemfontein and will report to the Sales Manager.

    Job Purpose:

    • To build and maintain customer relationships and actively promote the company to increase sales.

    Job Objectives:

    • Responsible for the achievement of Sales targets in Independent Parmarcies, Hospital Channels & Dispensing Doctors Channels, Independent Pharmacies and Link Pharmacies
    • Compiling and submission of activity and result reports
    • Identifying industry trends and competitive behavior
    • Identifying potential business risks
    • Expedite and resolve customer complaints
    • Present and promote Pharmaceutical products in line with Supplier needs
    • Ability to travel on a monthly basis

    Job Qualifications / Experience

    • B.Com, BSC Nursing would be an advantage or similar
    • 2+ years experience in a pharmacetica l/ logistic environment (Essential)
    • Valid drivers licence
    • Knowledge of the channels mentioned and Life and Mediclinic / Netcare Hospitals

    Marketing Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To sustain & grow our Link business to achieve long-term success, management of Link brand private label/promotions, UPD brand and intellectual property.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing and branding strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams/stakeholder relations. You will have a strong marketing and branding management background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop trust relationships with major clients
    • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements
    • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions in project form to meet their objectives Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
    • Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams
    • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
    • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using marketing and brand metrics
    • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements and identify opportunities to expand the Link value proposition.
    • To oversee the relationship of the company with Link member and the retail pharmacy industry.
    • The ideal candidate will be skilled in building relationships with strategic customers. To identify needs and requirements and to promote our company’s value proposition solutions and achieve manual satisfaction.
    • Align sales to operational capabilities through a thorough understanding of the current business processes in order to increase profitability

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years' experience in Marketing

    Experience Required

    • Proven experience as Marketing Manager
    • Experience in brand management  and providing solutions based on customer needs
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
    • Pharmaceutical / Retail / Business Management knowledge
    • Promotion Management
