    Senior Brand Manager- NP

    Position Snapshot

    Nestle is the world's leading nutrition, health, and wellness company. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Brand Manager who is passionate about uncovering consumer insights and delivering innovative marketing to join our dynamic Nestle Professional Marketing Team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing initiatives and activities for Nestle Professional. These initiatives and activities include campaigns (print, web, social media, broadcast, etc.), project management, analysing, planning, implementing, coordinating and controlling the product offering, positioning, pricing, promotion and distribution of Nestle Professional products within the Out of Home channel. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and you will generate strategies that grow market share and brand’s reputation, improve customer experience, and drive sustainable profitable growth.

    Position Summary

    • Understand category dynamics and identify ways to improve Brand performance in short, medium and long term.

    • Collaborate with Functional teams to implement Brand strategy

    • Develop brand plans, with specific focus on the next year aligning with Business Unit on activity grids for planned new products and key promotional initiatives.

    • Work cross functionally to develop the specific parts of the budgeted plan, including and new product timelines, trade activities, volumes, pricing, promotion, media support and A&P spend.

    • Provide input to finance to develop the category and brand P&L for the Budget and manage the business via a monthly in-depth review of the P&L.

    • Present an overview of the category, as well as plans to drive Category share performance and financial KPI’s at least twice per year to the Business Executive Manager

    • Generate consumer and customer insights for translation into strategies, plans and activities.

    • Use business processes and resources to translate insights into innovative solutions.

    • Grow the footprint of existing brands in the Out of Home channel.

    • Generate Integrated Commercial Plans using deep understanding of trade partners, integrated with consumer needs, in order to grow sales value.

    • Create and Implement strategies, meeting brand, category and business needs that deliver sustained profitable growth and which are in line with international requirements.

    • Develop comprehensive marketing plans that bring brands to life through creative implementation to achieve strategic goals.

    • Launch of SKUs relevant to the product category to ensure sustainable profitable growth.

    • Manage, implement and monitor plans, deliver them on target, in line with strategy and on time.

    • Build marketing knowledge and best practice.

    What will make you successful

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Marketing related focus / Honours preferred

    • Minimum of 5 years brand management experience (preferably in a FMCG environment) with a reasonable amount of exposure to the core Marketing competencies: consumer insight, strategy, budget & planning, promotions management, business & financial management, new product development, Digital media, advertising development & an understanding of the trade

    Assistant Factory Finance Controller

    Position Summary

    Working in Mosselbay as an Assistant Factory Controller you will be responsible to provide efficient, effective and accurate costing support and advice to meet business (Corporate, Division and factory) objectives, consistent with Nestle policies.

    A day in the life of...

    An Assistant Factory Controller 
    Decision Support: Provision of accurate and timely detailed product costings. Variance analysis and reporting (weekly, monthly, yearly). Assist with Preparation of the Standard Cost Budget and Revisions and submit on a timely basis. Co-ordination and Involvement in new product development teams – costings for feasibility studies


    Operational: 

    • Ensure audit guidelines and Nestle Accounting policy is observed
    • Education of shop-floor staff in use of SAP to improve material/labour control
    • Maintenance of data integrity for SAP
    • Implement procedure to avoid write offs, and ensure that obsolete and redundant materials are identified and written off in accordance with head office directives
    • Petty Cash disbursement and replenishment
    • Co-ordination and Involvement in new product development teams – costings for feasibility studies. Provision of accurate monthly Actual Cost Calculation with consistent adherence to Period End Close timelines. Ensure that the Nestle Costing Standards Guidelines and Methodologies are observed and applied consistently.                 
    • "Validate and analyses financial and accounting information pertaining to the factory for Management and employees. Preparation of the monthly Raw and Packing materials Working Capital reporting. Involvement with all departments in Continuous Improvements initiatives.

Supporting Factory Controller in decision support activities such as, what if analysis, EBA calculations etc. Adhoc Projects. Monitor and Control factory fixed cost.                
     
     

    What will make you successful

    •    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar.
    •    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Accounting.
    •    FMCG or Manufacturing environment experience

    Factory Finance Controller

    Position Summary

Perfection is at the heart of what we do and our people are always looking for the next big idea to cement our status. We’re now looking for a Factory Controller in Mosselbay.

     

    You will be a steadfast custodian of stewardship and governance for the facility. Trusted co-pilot to the Factory Manager and the Factory Leadership Team. Responsible for all financial matters (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects…) and provide fact-based decision making on both short-term objectives and on long term strategic initiatives. Provide visibility and forecasts around costs related to the factory processes through the driving of relevant analysis and reporting (monitoring of the budget and controlling the variances), ensures Compliance to financial legal requirements and NAS.

    A Factory Controller

     

    Cash Flow & Continuous Improvement : Identify and drive cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives, validate, review and track proposed savings. Challenge assumptions for cost improvements in factory based on internal and external benchmark information on factory performance and costs.  Actively drive NCE activities within the factory and ensure activities are in alignment with business OMP.

    Reporting and Analytics : Manage factory reporting of actuals and forecasts for the factory; ensure transparency, accuracy and timeliness of this process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed by promoting ownership of data at source.

    Business Planning : Drive business planning; manage the overall factory budget with factory management team as well as being the critical liaison between factory and Head Office in the business planning process. Perform forecasts, revisions or simulations if needed. 

    Strategic Evaluations : Lead strategic financial analysis relating to major or strategic decisions related to the factory to ensure full transparency of costs and non-financial implications.

    Development and Talent : Coach and develop the factory personnel with focus on finance individuals & team including career and succession planning.

     

    What will make you successful

    • Over 5 years’ experience in a Finance Specialist role

    • People management experience

    • BCom Accounting Degree

    • Prior experience as Plant Controller or SC Controller, plus  experience in other finance departments such as Audit, Business Controlling

    • Experience in multicultural/varied nationality environment

    • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience

    • Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)

    • Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)
