    Senior Property Valuer

    Role Description:

    • Seasoned Valuation professional needed to join a global real estate brand and a growing valuation team. You will be working within the Sub Saharan Africa Valuation Department but be based in Johannesburg, and be required to value a broad range of asset types including commercial, residential and developments. This role offers excellent exposure to major financial institutions, investors, and owner-occupiers at a national and international level. A SA Professional Valuer (SACPVP) qualification is essential, and a RICS / MRICS would be an added bonus. Extensive MRI Cougar experience will be highly advantageous.

    Project Manager: Social Impact

    Reporting to the Senior Manager: Social Impact, the Project Manager will be responsible for providing input and support on the Social Value strategic plan, planning and managing projects, measuring and tracking performance, stakeholder identification and engagement, SME support, providing administrative support, assisting with the management of budgets, conducting project-based research.


    The following requirements were found to be relevant to this job:

    • Matric
    • Social Development, Business Development or other relevant Degree (3 years)
    • Project Planning or Management, Shared Values certificate etc. would be advantageous
    • 3-5 Years Experience in Innovation, Small Business Development and Incubation, Social Development or other relevant fields

    The following job objectives were found to be relevant to this job:

    Strategic Input

    • Providing input and support on strategic plans
    • Understand and collaboratively champion the Social Value strategy that supports the overall V&A purpose
    • Translate broad goals into operational objectives
    • Formulate and prepare proposals

    Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD)

    • Provide input into the formulation of enterprise Development strategy
    • Implement all strategic projects related to Enterprise Development and Incubation
    • Manage day to day interaction with Enterprise and Supplier Development Beneficiaries
    • Evaluate and Report on Key milestones across all ESD projects

    Project Management

    • Identify and leverage mutually beneficial relationships and opportunities as it relates to social impact
    • Collaboratively plan, coordinate and manage a broad range of projects across the business
    • Contract management (liaise closely with Legal BU) and setting up metrics for success
    • Collaborate with Marketing BU to ensure the effective internal and external communication and exposure of project-based work

    Measure, Track and Report on Performance

    • Ensure and track social value strategy in line with National and Global policy
    • As thought leaders, collect and share key learnings with a range of external stakeholders
    • Formulate and prepare project reports
    • Implement strategies to accurately monitor and evaluate the impact of activities across the portfolio

    Stakeholder Management

    • Stakeholder identification and engagement - both internal and external
    • Actively network and facilitate meetings with various external parties (e.g. small business, city structures, advocacy groups etc.)
    • Work closely with various internal departments as well as civil society stakeholders, tenants and service providers

    People Management

    • Guide, support, lead and performance manage relevant team members
    • Assist with the creation of a learning culture and environment within the team and greater business

     Administrative Duties

    • Processing payments and manage relevant budgets
    • Market scanning and project-based research
    • Data capturing
    • Monthly reporting
    • Assist with the preparation and presentation of various reports and submissions
    • Meeting and diary management
    • Minute taking
    • Ad-hoc admin requests
