Solutions Architect (Digital Media & Advertising) 

Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect (Digital Media & Advertising) to join their Cape Town team. You will strategically advise and shape the requirements for media solutions and create high-quality data, application and technology architectures in support of the business requirements.

To apply, you need to have a Degree in Information Systems / BSc Computer Science (or similar) coupled with 7-10 years’ working experience within the IT industry and 5 - 10 years’ experience with Campaign Management, Data Management Platforms, Demand Side Platforms, and Customer Data Platforms.

You also need at least 5 years’ experience in the following:

• Architecting Advertising Technology programs with an understanding of the Marketing Technology world in the context of personalisation - preferably Google platform (Big Query, SA360, DV360, Google Campaign)
• Experience with MDM (Master Data Management) and Big Data
• Worked on projects across multiple applications, SAP and non-SAP
• Experience with all aspects of IT projects from business analysis, architectures, system analysis, and design through development, testing, implementation, and production support (SDLC)
• Leading a team through an architectural development process and collaborating with other software development teams (2 - 3 years)
• Proficiency in marketing automation systems (SAP Marketing Cloud, Google DoubleClick/DV360, SA360, and GA) and integrating those systems with other technologies (3 years) – desirable

Adding to the above, your knowledge will need to encompass the following:

• Architecture and solution design (UML, OO, SOA, etc.)
• Software frameworks and methodologies (Agile, TOGAF, etc.)
• Commercial and business understanding of the retail industry
• Knowledge and experience in the design and use of (multi-dimensional) Data Warehouses, and the use of ETL software to provide these with information
• Experience using RDBMS as well as NoSQL databases

Test Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for creating automation test scripts and independently driving the automation plan and execution for web, mobile or SOA applications. QA related activities also include front-end, back-end, integration, performance, and regression testing of various software solutions.

To apply, you need to have a relevant Degree coupled with 3+ years’ experience in Selenium, Coded UI, Test Manager, Lab Manager, Appium, HP Service Test, SOAP UI PRO, Postman, Insomnia, JMeter, etc. You need to be proficient in multiple forms of test approaches for web/UI testing including functional, cross-browser compatibility, mobile, web service, and integration testing using manual and automated automation testing tools.

You also need to have experience with the following:

• UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting;
• Basic SQL operations;
• SOAP, REST, RPC or other client-server API testing;
• TFS, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus.
• GIT or other source code management systems;
• Experience in setting up and maintaining test suite executions via Octopus, Jenkins, Bamboo or any other continuous integration tools; and,
• Experience with end-to-end SDLC, testing methodologies and test phases including unit, assembly, system, integration, regression and performance testing.

It will be beneficial if you have:

• Prior programming work experience;
• Experience within the Banking or Financial Services Sector; and,
• Experience with performance engineering and load testing.

Senior Full-stack Java Developer
